heyo my bitches,

so before we begin i want to apologize for not posting since like february.

in march i was diagnosed with stage three hodgkin lymphoma. in other words, i have cancer.

it's one of the reasons i haven't updated in so long. i've been trying to accept the fact that i have cancer. and, i have accepted it. i don't want u guys to feel sorry for me or anything like that-but i just wanted to tell you.

so i started writing this on like february third but kinda never finished it? oh well

ok and to clear up confusion about calum he's bi, originally he was gonna be straight that's why he was checking lauren out but yeah he's by now BECAUSE CAKE AMIRIGHT?

anyways your story

i yawned, rolling over in bed as the glaring sunlight shone in my eyes. i groaned and sat up, rubbing my eyes. i looked around the room in confusion, the grey walls  were not my own powder blue nor the band posters on the wall or the drum-

ohmygod

the events of the previous night came rushing back as i slipped out of the bed, fully naked as i crept over to ashton's drawers and pulled out one of his shirts and slipped it on. i searched for my underwear but it was a useless thought as ashtons floor was covered with clothes.

ashton wasn't in his bedroom, so i assumed he was in the kitchen or living room and i walked out, feeling slightly worried and stupid.

what if it was all just some trick. what if he just invited girls to be his roommate and then pretended to like them until he fucked them and- a loud crash came from the front door and i gasped grabbing the nearest thing, which happened to be a drumstick and slowly peeked around the corner of the hall.

ashton stood  trying to balance a package, a bag and a bouquet of roses, as he struggled to close the front door.

"need some help?" i  snickered, dropping the drumstick my previous fears gone. ashton looked up.

"oh lauren! wait stay there," he ordered as he set down the bag and box and turned to me, holding the roses.

"so i uh, woke up this morning and realized it was a very important day, um, valentine's day," he started, and i nodded, realizing it was the fourteenth, i never bothered to remember it though. "and after everything that happened last night i thought that i would-ah fuck i'm already doing this wrong." ashton cursed at himself.

"lauren, would you do the honor of being my girlfriend?" ashton asked, holding the roses out a hopeful expression on his face. i pressed my lips together trying to hold in my humongous smile as i nodded.

"yes!" i laughed, running towards him and hugging him. he tossed the roses to the side and hugged me back a large grin on his face as i leaned up and gave him a kiss on the lips.

"is that my shirt?" ashton asked, suddenly as we were walking into the kitchen where he was opening the box, which held a chocolate cake.

i looked down at the captain america shirt that i stole out of his drawers. "yeah," i responded, "i can take it off if you like, it's just i couldn't find any of my clothes and-"

"no, no i don't mind," ashton bit his lip, his eyes taking in my bare thighs as i grabbed a knife out of the drawer.

OK SO I WROTE NIFE AND I WAS LIKE WAIT NO THATS WRONG AND THEN I CHANGED IT TO NIPHE THEN NIFEE AND IDK WTF WAS WRONG WITH ME BC I COULDNT REMEMBER HOW TO SPELL IT then i just looked it up.

"did you say you couldn't find any of your clothes?" he asked, setting the cake down on the counter. i looked up, raising my eyebrows.

"well in case you haven't noticed irwin, your rooms a mess." i replied as ashton moved across the floor and lifted me onto the counter. i let out a slight squeal as he did, but it soon turned into a moan as ashton started sucking hickies onto my neck.

"fuck ashton," i gasped as he found my sweet spot once more. ashton stopped giving me a disappointed look.

"now princess, that's not what you call me." he growled, his fingers creeping towards my unclothed center.

"s-sorry daddy."

"no, yes, no mother!"

i looked up from my phone, sighing, as i saw ashton, still, standing on the apartment balcony talking frustratedly to his mother.

"mom, we've only been together for a week! do you really have to come over for dinner?" ashton ran his fingers through his hair as my eyes widened, a piece piece of chocolate icing clinging to my bottom lip.

"ugh, fine! just let me talk to her." he exclaimed, before hanging up and walking inside, sliding the balcony door shut.

"everything okay?" i asked, concern in my eyes as ashton stalked over to me and dropped himself on the bed besides me.

"my mother is being a bitch." he huffed, letting his head fall onto my lap.

i raised an eyebrow, as i dipped my index finger in the pint of chocolate frosting on the bed next to me.

"don't call your mom a bitch, ash." i scolded before letting ashton lick the frosting off my finger.

"i'm sorry," he closed his eyes and then looked up at me, "you know how you overheard me talking to my friends that day at starbucks?"

i nodded, tracing circles on ashton's forehead as i listened to him.

"well my mom wouldn't let me keep this apartment, unless i got a roommate." he sighed. "and i accidentally let it slip that we're dating when i called, and well now she wants to meet you, for dinner, here." ashton winced. "and when my mother wants something, she gets it."

i rolled your eyes. "ashton, i'm fine with having your mom over for dinner. it'll be fun."

ashton's hazel eyes stared at me,like i was psychotic. "really? lauren, you are amazing." he grinned, before leaning up and engaging my lips in a kiss.
