I look at my laptop to read the message I just got, it's from Dan!

9:34pm - Hey love, wanna call?

To Dan:
Of course I do x

I immediately call him after I message him. His beautiful face popping up on the screen moments later. My webcam is covered with a piece of tape, but Dan already knows why.

I want the first time for him to see my face to be in person. Not in an over-edited Instagram picture or in a pixelated Skype call. I've told him this before, and even though he's still tried to get me to show my face, I never do. I've dreamed of the moment my boyfriend sees my face for the first time since I was little, and I'm not giving up now.

"Hey honey, how was your day?" I ask, taking a sip of my tea.

"It was pretty relaxed, Phil edited the new gaming video so I just got to browse all day."

"That's nice of him." I say.

"Yea, how are you? Did you do anything today?"

"Just laid around, and I got coffee with
Y/f/n earlier."

"Oh that's nice, did you go to that Café you always tell me about?"

"Yup, I love that little place."

"Maybe one day I'll get to go there with you."

"I hope so."

"Maybe, it'll be one day soon."

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I may or may not have just bought tickets to Y/c/n." (Stands for, "Your city's name")

"You didn't!"

"I did!"

I bounce up and down with excitement, I can hear Dan laughing at me through the speakers.

"When will you be here?" I ask.

"About this time tomorrow, is that okay?"

"That is beyond okay! I'm so excited to meet you, Dan."

"I'm excited to finally see your beautiful face." He smiles.

Awww.

"My flight leaves around 3:00pm. Do you want to meet me at the airport?"

"How will you be able to tell who is me? You've never seen my face."

"Good point."

"I can send you my address?"

"Sure."

"Perfect, well I should rest up for tomorrow." He says.

"Yea, goodnight Daniel."

"Goodnight, love." He says.
