Today was the day,
I learned something
I never wished to know.
Apparently panic attacks
Can trigger a seizure.
I knew that seeing him again
Was going to be too much for me.
Yet, I tried to go to school anyway.
It was what was expected of me.
A guy can only miss
So much of his education
Before causing more trouble
Than it's worth.
So, I tried to walk
Those same halls
As a monster.
So, I put on a mask
And hoped that pretending
Could get me through.
It couldn't.
