"he doesn't want to be found," ophelia quietly spoke after moments of tortuous silence,
"he made a map, lia, he does," poe spoke up. ophelia whipped her head around to him and saw regret flood his eyes once she had glared at him,
"he left to protect you," leia spoke kindly of her brother, ophelia quickly stood up, her heart pounding in her ears,
"if he wanted to protect me i would be with him! he left me, he left us, because he was scared," her voice raised. master luke had made ophelia feel like an object, something that wasn't needed, that was disposable. he threw her in away in the wind when he left without warning,
"he left you so you wouldn't get connected with him as a jedi," poe whispered trying to calm her down, this only worsened the situation,
"i'm not a jedi!" she screamed,
"you trained with luke for two years, ophelia," leia spoke, her voice stern,
"i have chosen to abandon my past as a force user. i will not participate in this thing," she spat, her fists curling up into balls as she attempted to suppress her anger. the general sighed in defeat,
"please, collect the map for us. for the resistance, for hope," she said making eye contact with poe, his eyes widened and he nodded slowly,
"of course, general." ophelia's mouth went dry, she couldn't comprehend the amount of betrayal that poe had thrown out across this table. he looked up at her, his eyes filling with determination and hope, ophelia's heart sunk as she realised her past wasn't as disposable as she wished it was.

"ophelia!" poe called out from behind her, she struggled to move at such a fast walking pace, winding through corridors blindly, hoping she wasn't going to run into anyone, "listen to me, lia," ophelia wasn't moving as quickly as she hoped she was once she felt poe's strong hand wrap harshly around her arm in an attempt to stop her, "just listen to me," he breathed heavily,
"how could you?" she harshly whispered once she turned to face him, their breaths mixing together in anger and hope,
"i'm not doing this for me, or for you. i'm doing this for the resistance. this could change everything, it will bring us hope," he pleaded with her, she shook her head softly as tears pricked her eyes,
"i'm not," she cried, "i'm not going with you. i can't," poe's face softened once the tears spilled out of her brown eyes and down her cheeks,
"general leia believes in you, ophelia," she was torn, she had been waiting for this day for a long time, the day where she would become useful again, but it was almost as if ophelia had grown to love being an object that was just there. "please, come with me. let's do this together, let's find him," ophelia continued to shake her head as more words spilled out of his stupid mouth, "i need you with me," she stared into his pleading eyes as a million thoughts rushed through her mind, although one was particularly predominant. it was a few haunting moments before ophelia finally began to nod,
"ok," she breathed, "i'll do it for you. i'll help you find luke skywalker."
