I opened the door, letting Darius in first. My friend (slash servant) Jeremy ran up to us, bowing slightly at us, giving me a grin. "Welcome home Sir, I see you brought your Auen! I'll have the cook prepare a meal in a few hours." He bowed again and left hurriedly as my father called for him from upstairs. I glanced at Darius, seeing his warm smile made me happy.  Without any words wasted, I led him up to my room. As soon as I closed the door behind me, I felt his lips on my shoulder, placing a peck there before turning and sitting on the bed. I blushed 49 shades of red before laying down with my head in his lap. I grabbed one of his hands in my own and played with his fingers, putting them in different positions. He didn't seem to mind, and used his other hand to gently play with my hair, taking care not to mess it up.

After a few minutes he pulled us up to I was sitting on his lap, and he put his arms around me before turning on the tv. We decided to watch The Lion King 2 as he hadn't seen it yet. I liked it slightly better because let's face it, Kovu got cute as he got older! Almost as cute as young adult Simba!

He watched the movie in silence, laughing quietly as I said nearly the whole script in sync with each character. I may or may not be obsessed with Disney and Pixar... Maybe.....

After the movie was over, he pecked my cheek and said "Let us go down? The food must be finished." (I promise his English gets better, he isn't used to using much.) When we got to the dining room, a platter of some large Ribeye steaks sat in the middle of the table, with sides of mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, Mac and Cheese, and chicken wings! They Americanized the fancier dish to make it more fun. I grabbed a plate and one for Darius, and started loading mine with Mac and cheese before picking a rare cut of beef. I slathered on some potatoes and a small scoop of carrots. I got a handful of wings too, but I preferred the Mac.

We ate in silence, but it was comfortable. My father was on a call, so he wasn't eating with us. He had been opening up to me, but I haven't told him that I'm bi. He might be homophobic, but I think he's ok.

As we walked upstairs, Darius whispered to me "Is there somewhere we can be alone,". I nodded, unsure of what he wanted and led him to my secret part of the attic. I had slowly been moving blankets and pillows up, and even found an air mattress that I could put up there. I had found an old desk and chair, so I put that up. It wasn't wrong, but it felt nice to have a secret space.

I led him up there, and opened up the small hatch that I have to crawl through to get in. There was a larger door, but I always had it locked from the inside.

After I opened the door he asked me "Why do you lock it?"

"Well, I like to have my own space. The floors are thick enough to be soundproof, so I could be doing jumping jacks and nobody would hear." He nodded, and as soon as I locked the door he grabbed my hand gently and sat us down on the bed.

"We need to talk."
