Ch.28 Say you wont let go

You know that moment when everything you are trying to get away from and put behind you comes crashing in and drowning you.

I guess that's what it is right? A wave that is just full of sadness and depression and pain from your past that you took so long to lock away and forget about that just comes crashing in and drowning you that fast.

Because that is what depression is a wave trying to suck you in for so long that you drown. And it never really leaves you alone. You just learn to block it out. Cut off the world. Anything to make everything stop hurting and make the pain stop.

There's a quote that I love from "The Fault in Our Stars" it says "You don't get a choice on if you get hurt in this world but you do get to choose who hurts you." I really like this quote because it's true but it's kind of hard to choose who hurts you because if fate wants it to happen it will happen some other time. It's just a matter of time before your past comes to get you and take you under. It's just how fate works. And there is nothing you can do to stop it.
