Nick's POV
I heard the front door open and Alex's voice from down the hall. I knew that Jess was going to freak out as soon as she opens this door, and I can't wait. But I don't have to, because at that thought she opened the door. Alex had his arm slung around her waist, and as soon as her eyes fell onto the group of people laid out on my bed, I swear her face lit up like fireworks. It's been an extremely long time since I've seen her this happy, and knowing that I helped make it happen just made my life.
Everyone was seriously quite, it was almost unnerving. But, before it could settle in too much, Jess walked straight over to where I was sitting on the bed and pushed me back so that I fell off. The room erupted in laughter, and I was laughing along with them.
“HEY! That really hurt, what was that for!?” I half yelled, clearly joking.
“You invited the people I love most into your room without telling me! You nasty boy!” She said with a wink. She said it like that on purpose, because that's just how she is. Alex was still standing in the doorway, looking at her with a glint in his eye. I can see just how much he cares for her, and she deserves it. She deserves him. He's a lucky guy.
She was about to sit where I had been sitting when someone spoke from the doorway. That someone was not Alex.
“SHE GOT HERE AND YOU DIDN'T COME AND WAKE ME UP!” yelled a voice from right infront of Alex. She looked straight at him and charged at him.
“JUSTIN!!” She yelled, completely entranced with her old friend. She ran straight at him and he engulfed her in a bear hug. “Justin I've missed you so much you don't understand how much I've missed you I've missed you to the stars and back and I've missed our talks about music and our talks about the Illuminati and all of our talks and I've missed you so much oh god I've missed you” she said before she started to cry into his shoulder, still talking to him, but now her words were muffled by her tears and his shoulder. I couldn't see her face, but I could see Justin crying and knew that she would look just as tear stained.
“Katie Kat I've missed you too! I've missed you more than you could ever think, I've missed you Oh god I love you Kate! God dammit I've missed you” was all Justin could say before trailing off into mutters that only Jess could hear. I saw Alex still standing in the door way and the two long lost friends embraced each other. After a good other minute of crying into each other, Justin pulled away and held Jess at arms length to look her over. “How have you been you have to tell me everything! You have to tell me what happened after I left and you have to tell me when you're leaving for tour and stuff because Nick briefed us and good god I've missed you!” He said.
Before she could say anything else, someone cleared their throat from the bed. She went to look over at the bed but Justin's hand on her cheek stopped her.
“Before they get to see you're pretty face again, wipe your eyes and fix the 7th grade hair-do. I thought that we agreed that you part your hair on the right to cover that god awful scar above your eyebrow that T gave you.”
Classic Justin, worried about looks around best friends. They wouldn't care if she looked like crap, but she groaned and did as he asked. While she was fixing her hair, Justin grabbed her hand and stopped her from doing anything more. He groaned “I'm going to kill him when you leave. I hope you understand. I thought he had stopped.” He muttered, barely loud enough for anyone to hear.
The people on the bed exchanged looks for a brief second. Justin leaned down and it looked like he kissed her forehead. When she turned around the room gave a communal groan. She didn't have that black eye last night. PJ. God, he's such a dick to her! Through all of this, Alex seemed quite at ease. He seemed rather jealous of Justin, especially during their embrace and him kissing her forehead, but he didn't say anything about it. This was her time, and he obviously realized this.
