Hey guys, so I was talking to A_Little_Kitty at lunch today when we realized something, Lorcan and Elide should be mates. I mean, come on, Lorcan hasn't loved yet when this little girl comes along with a limp, he's in love. They are the exact opposite on so many levels, and even though they don't know they are mates yet, Rowan and Aelin didn't know for a long time. Rowaelin became aware that they were mates long after Rowaelin was an item. Lorcan and Elide could very well be mates. The protect each other from death and are willing to die for the other... just like MATES. EOS chapter 57. Lorcan is attacked and the 'wolf' is about to go for the kill when Elide jumps in front. Lorcan puts up a protective shield with the last of his magic to protect Elide from Gavriel and Fenrys.
