"yoori-ah! i'm here! shall we go now?" jisung asks as he runs up to me.

i smile while looking down. jisung was just like a brother to me. jisung, cheonsa, and i are pretty close. we have almost the same birthdays so sometimes we joke that we're twins with cheonsa as our older sister. i take the same classes as cheonsa and jaemin though because i'm a smarty-pants, what can i say? we made plans for this weekend to meet up at the park by my house and to walk to the ice cream shop close by together.

"of course!"

"you know, you haven't been acting like yourself... yoori, you are very transparent. i could tell that something's definitely wrong," he says, rubbing his arms.

he doesn't usually talk much and i'm more of the person to start our conversations so whenever he talks first, you know that he's absolutely serious.

"oh, it's nothing. i'm actually doing much better than i have before! i got all a's on the last report card and i learned this new recipe that tastes really good. don't worry about me, jisung-ie. i promise that i'm fine," i say with a big reassuring smile.

"yoori... we promised each other to never keep secrets. tell me."

"since i know you won't stop pestering me about it, i guess i'll tell you. well, i have a crush. and... well, cheonsa told me to confess to him on valentine's day. but when i was just about to tell him, he went to confess to another girl right in front of my eyes. and it was her, cheonsa," i say, looking down.

" oh, yoori... i feel so bad... but don't worry because even if it doesn't seem that way right now, this feeling won't last forever. " he says, putting his arm around my shoulders and ruffling my hair.

" thanks... i owe you... " i say, chuckling softly.

" psh, the only thing you owe me is a real smile today! kaja! it looks like its about to rain. " he says, beginning to jog.

i nod, then jog with him.
