Prologue
Upon his release and anticipated break up, Lachlan is unsure what to do with his life. The kids are growing older, seemingly not needing him for guidance. Jerome is wanting to move forward in his life, not sure if that includes Mitch or not. And Preston's getting letters from Stanford and tip-toeing his way around Lachlan.
It feels to Lachlan like he's back at square one in an never-ending board game that he can't possibly win.

I wasn't sure if you guys actually wanted a sequel, but you were all excited. I'm so happy you want to continue this story. There will be a lot of storylines in this so hopefully they all meld together nicely. I don't want to say anything to spoily, but one of the main storylines involves Vik. I wasn't going to post this until I was finished with Axe to Grind, but since you were so excited for this I decided to give you the synopsis. I've got no clue when the first chapter will be up, but my main focus will be on Axe to Grind. Which is in the same universe as Here is Home.. If you didn't know.
Can we talk about how great the sequel name it? Here is Home has 10 letters, Mess is Mine has 10 letters. It seems like a great sequel name to me.
