Alex's POV
I went to sleep worried for Jo I have no idea where she is and why her things were on the floor. All though I didn't want to get up I had to go talk to Da Lucka about the accident. I knocked on the door and he gave me permission to go in. I walked in and said that I was sorry for what I had done to him, and asked if he was pressing charges he said no and that if I can leave. I did as I was told and left. I went outside only to find that Jo's car wasn't there anymore. I called her phone but she wasn't answering at least I was a bit at peace mowing she was safe.

Da Lucka's POV
It had been a week and I was allowed to go back to work I was avoiding Alex though because I was still angry at what he had done. I saw Step around the corner and decided to ask how Jo was doing because I hadn't seen her around when she told me that she hasn't spoken to her in a week. She wasn't texting her back nor was she calling her to make sure she was fine. The last time she heard from her was when she came to get her stuff. At that moment I went to ask Baily if she knew anything about Jo and she said that she asked for a week off and she was supposed to come back today. I was so worried that I had no other option but to talk to Alex. "Hey um Alex have you talked to Jo recently." "No I haven't she took some things in a bag so I'm guessing she might be staying at a hotel." That's when I decided to tell Alex about her past. I saw his expression change. He went from pissed to worried because he remembered that her things where on the parking lot floor. We drove to his lot but didn't find her then we got paged and drove back to the hospital. It was a little girl that had bruises on her arms and face. We asked for her name and she said that her name was Page and that her step mom took her here. When we went down to look for her step mom we couldn't find anyone. We went back upstairs and asked her to tell us what had happened.

Alex's POV
When we couldn't find Page's step mom we decided to ask her how she got the bruises. "Well my step mom had left us to find work about five years ago and my dad would always get mad and sleep around with a lot of women. On my tenth birthday he told me that he would find my step mom and bring her back home. I was worried she was able to leave and now she might come back. He brought her back and she looked very different a good different. That night he punished her for leaving and disobeying him. She will get up and throw up almost every morning and I had a feeling that she was very sick, so I stood in front of her and my father punished me. She took me here and said to explain everything leaving her name out. Then she said to wait a few days then go with a doctor that she knows. Right now she probably is already back home" At that moment I called child services, but she refused to give us her step mom's and and address.
