I know, I know! I swore I would not be "that" writer who never updates and that gets far enough into the book that you are invested and I wouldn't blame y'all if I lost some readers for the inconsistent updates. Life has settled and classes are not as bad as I thought they'd be this semester. I will try my hardest to keep up with updates and have them every other Sunday then work towards every Sunday. For those who have stuck with me I am ecstatic you are patient enough and like my story enough to endure my few and far between updates. I only use my phone to update my story, so small keyboard coupled with an extensive vocabulary that I can't spell will provide massive spelling errors that I plan to correct when I am done with the story. Y'all are the best readers around!!!

Later
ClayAs I lay in bed I can't help but think about my date with Sam earlier today, thinking about the way she felt in my arms when she snuggled up to me getting comfortable, to her twinkling laugh, to her love for the simple things makes me smile, that and the fact that she is extreamly clumsy off of a horse.
Flashback
The credits of god's not dead 2 roll as I look down at Sam who watches the screen with a soft smile on her lush lips. She looks up at me and says "Clay, this was an amazing date I am so glad you picked this." That reassurance that she liked my idea for this date did wonders as I slowly lean down to kiss her plump lips ever so lightly, pulling back I reply, "I'm glad you liked it." My lips brushing hers with each word. With that she shivers and concerned I ask her if she needs to get in the truck, she smiles and nods gratefully. I get down first offering a hand to her that she accepts with a smile. As she walks in front of me she suddenly trips falling forward, on instinct I wrap my arms around her and pull her to me before she can hit the dirt. "Are you ok?" I ask and she replies breathlessly "yeah I am, I've always been pretty clumsy" at that I laugh shaking my head saying, "how can you control a thousand plus pound animal with such grace but on your own two feet you are this clumsy?" With her head held high she replies, "easy, walking won't win you buckles, saddles, and money, barrels will so I don't concern myself with being graceful off of my horse". I just nod with a thoughtful smile and help her into the truck. As I start the truck I see we have thirty minutes before I have to get her home, with regret I tell her this and she looks almost as sad that our date is coming to an end as I do. The drive to her house is a quiet one, both of us lost in thought, when we pull up to her house. Parking the truck, I step out and open her door for her and she steps lid and holds my hand as we walk to the door. "I had a great time with you clay, thank you" she says sweetly as we reach her door, "I'm glad you enjoyed yourself Sam" I replied. I leaned in to give her a quick kiss but she ran her fingers through my hair as I deepened the kiss, finally coming to my senses, I notice the porch light turning on an off, and reluctantly pull back with a sigh. When Sam realizes the light turning on and off she hides her blushing face in my chest muttering softly, "oh lord kill me now!" To that I chuckle, and kissing her forehead, say goodnight and walk back to my truck as she opens the door.______________
A/N
I know this is short but I wanted to give y'all something by this weekend. I will try my hardest to make the next chapter longer but it's what many anatomy kids are calling hell week with an exam and practical in the same week, so it's study time for me this week. Thank you for reading this far!!
