"Jeon Jungkook's mother"

W-what?! Jungkooks mum is in Korea... I thought she was in the States.
"I heard the news and I came here as quick as I can, is he alright? What's wrong with him? Is there-" she started to panic and G.D stopped her from talking.
"Miss, I know how you feel right now but you just need to calm down. I'll tell you everything you guys need to know in my office" G.D went out of the room and so did Jung Li but for me I was a bit hesitant. I turned around to look at Jungkook for once last time.
"So... You really don't know who I am?" I give him a small smile.
"No, I'm sorry" I hear him say. I nod and head out on the verge of crying but I hold it in. The group called earlier and said that they had to leave so I just let them go and made my way to G.Ds office...
"Ah finally, your here Jimin... Now we can-"
"Jimin??" I hear the lady say as she turns around to face me.
"Yes??"
"Your the one that my son is dating??" I gulp down nervous and just nod. I thought this would be some cliche drama shit when the mother tells the person stay away from her son but surprisingly it didn't go that way... Instead she had her arms wide open telling me to come closer, so I did slowly. As soon as I was close enough she close me in an embrace and whispered...
"Thank you for taking care of him..." I hug back and then let go smiling but only for a second then we pulled away and sat down to hear the news.
"So as you know I'm Jungkooks doctor Kwon Ji Young but you can call me G.D for short..." He clears his throat and starts talking "now about Jungkook when he came in earlier we did an X-Ray and his brain seem to be stable everything fine" I sighed in relief "but... When we looked closer it seem Jungkook has hit the back of his head really hard it made him loose a massive amount of his memory.... So much that he almost forgot his birthday, name, stuff like personal information, however, he's slowly regaining it which is a good sign" I look at Li and she looked worried...
"Doctor, is there anything we can do to regain his memory quicker?" She asks but G.D sighed in return.
"Just like jimins condition before there isn't really a cure, the only way for him to regain is memory is from scratch. The good thing is, is that he won't experience any pain when he regains his memory" that's double relief for me.
"G.D how long would it take for him to regain all his memory at this rate?"
"I would have to say... 3 years or more"
"T-t-three years or more?" I say in shock. He nods and stands up.
"Don't worry, we will run daily test on him and give you a heads up if anything isn't going well but for now he would have to rest and heal here in the hospital"
"How long?" We both ask in unison
"For only 2 days and then he will be free to go" he leads us to the door and we exit outside going towards Jungkooks room.
"Well this is as far as will go because I gotta check other patients, see you later" G.D waves us both goodbye and leaves. It was now just me and Li... Awkward was the only way to explain it.
"Thank you" she said
"Excuse me?' I look at her.
