the walk back to minghao's house was silent but jun's curiosity was eating him alive so he broke the silence first.

"who taught you how to steal?" jun had always known minghao as a shy nice person who would never do anything bad, so he was legitimately shook that the shirt he currently had on was stolen.

he remembered the day minghao's mom had given him the talk about stealing and he vowed never to do it, just like how he promised her to never drink or do drugs. but he had already broken one of his promises to her. hopefully just one, jun thought.

"um one of my cousins taught me, his names wonwoo." wonwoo could be seen as a bad person but he never meant any harm, he just wanted some adrenaline in his life. minghao remembered the summers they sent together, since wonwoo lived so far way they could only spend breaks together. they both looked forward to being together but the time spent was limited and heavily spaced out, but it made the times more special.

"oh okay," and with those words the conversation was over.

when they got back home, minghao stopped in front of his door making jun crash into him.

"you can't come in," he quickly turned around looking at a surprised jun who was rubbing his head.

"so i'm suppose to sleep on the street?" jun literally looked like he was about to cry but minghao only laughed and patted his head softly, "just stay here okay nothing bad will happen to you, i promise."

jun simply wiped his wet eyes and sat on the floor as he watched minghao enter his house alone. it didn't take long before minghao was heard, his voice coming from the side of the home.

"psssttt junhui come here," jun had never stood up so quickly in his life that he got dizzy but that didn't stop him from running over to where minghao's voice was coming from.

minghao made jun jump through the window and while most people would have complained, jun silently obeyed again.

once in the house, jun kept yawning.

"you tired??" he felt kind of dumb for asking cause it was so obvious.

"yes, can we sleep now," jun flopped on the bed again, hugging a pillow in the process.

"k you can't sleep on my bed," minghao was about to hit him but then he heard soft snores. how could a person sleep this fast? but he didn't want to be rude and just set up a little bed on the floor after making sure he locked the door. it was barely 8 o'clock and minghao never found himself sleeping before 3 am but he had school tomorrow so his precious sleep cycle was going to get cut, so he didn't complain as he closed his eyes and dozed off.

2:30am

"are you asleep?" jun's voice was heard, minghao wasn't a light sleeper but since he wasn't use to another human being with him at night, he woke up at the whisper.

"yes" minghao groaned, turning over facing the side of the bed where jun was.

"oh okay sorry" and then the bed creaked signaling that jun was repositioning himself.

"what do you want junhui?" he felt bad and his conscience was telling him to be nice.

"i'm scared and cold,"

"um do you wanna sleep with me?" minghao mumbled since he was too tired. thinking he was going to go share a bed with jun, minghao was about to get up to go with him but then he felt a pair of arms around him. he ended up shivering a little but jun snuggled closer to him, relaxing minghao a little.

"goodnight minghao," jun spoke in the crook of the others neck but the boy was already asleep.
