"COUSIN!" wonwoo wrapped his arms around minghao, dropping his backpack and the small suitcase he was carrying.
"um wonwoo? what are you doing here?" minghao questioned since everything recently was taking him by surprise.
"that doesn't matter we have to go to school buddy we're late," he threw his stuff inside the house before pulling him outside and shutting the door.
"UM WAIT," minghao screams when he's only taken a couple of steps, "my friend is staying with me".
"okay where is he?" wonwoo asks looking around, so minghao just puts one finger up signaling him to wait before going back inside and pulling out a smiling junhui.
"hi i'm junhui," he spoke putting his hand out for wonwoo to shake since he's learned that that's what normal people do when introducing themselves.
"hi, they call me wonwoo but you can call me tonight," wonwoo peeped the boy in front of him from top to bottom, making minghao uncomfortable but jun was oblivious.
"okay tonight," jun smiled once again making minghao laugh and a confused face grow on wonwoo.
"we have to start walking, come on," the only responsible boy in the group called out before grabbing their hands and starting to walk. the morning bell had already rang so obviously they were already late, but 5 minutes late and 30 minutes late still receives a tardy slip so might as well take more time.
as they were walking, minghao's curiosity was too much and he asked the question that was still unanswered.
"wonwoo, why'd auntie send you over here?" he tiled his head to the side because he was confused. his aunt was always patient with wonwoo because he knew all the things he went/was going through, but sending him away from the house seemed like something she would never do unless it was her breaking point.
"um let's just say i got caught," wonwoo kept his stare at the ground.
"with what?" minghao bumped his shoulder so that he'd actually look at him for once.
"too many to remember," wonwoo finally looked him in the eyes but then his view turned to jun.
"who's jun by the way?" he turned the conversation away from himself since it was obvious the topic was making him uncomfortable.
"oh um, my parents don't know he's staying at the house. his family kicked him out and he doesn't have a place," he had been planning this excuse since last night and the words rolled off of his tongue as if they were actually the truth.
"looks like we're in the same situation dude," wonwoo spoke towards the boy who really wasn't paying attention. jun was just looking around as they were walking, taking everything in.
it turned out wonwoo was going to be attending minghao's same school. he had arranged to attend last minute and wanted to know if he had any classes with minghao or jun, and while minghao could show his school schedule. jun on the other hand had nothing to offer.
"ya he's not enrolled and i don't know what to do," minghao truthfully told his cousin, but deep down he knew wonwoo could come up with a plan.
"it's okay i got something," he smirked before looking over at jun, "hey jun you know any other languages?"
jun was confused, he didn't even know there were other languages to speak. he only knew one, "no."
"it's fine, just do not say a single word and we'll be okay," he grabbed jun's hand and pulled him towards his first class, a class that minghao was not in.
"i'll take good care of him minghao, i'll text you if anything happens, we'll see you during lunch," he waved as the two boys were walking farther and farther. jun looked at him and his face didn't seem scared, yet minghao slightly wished he showed some sort of emotion at the sight of being taken away from him.
the only class minghao had with wonwoo was last period, so he would have to wait until lunch and then the final class to be able to see jun. but minghao trusted wonwoo, even though he was starting to become jealous.
