10:55pm, Monday
I can't believe I reacted that way. Now he's gone. His going back to Cebu. Now I just feel empty. Love wasn't really my thing. Every time a guy tries to court me or flirt with me, I just end up pushing them away. I came here to survive, to be able to support myself and just live a simple, peaceful life. Not to throw away my life for some man I just met. I know how life works. I know how money works. I know how time works. I know the practicality of the world. But it never occurred to me, dealing my love life. I failed love too many times when I was in high school, and I never bothered to entertain men during my college years here, because I'm a working student. But love, it's too risky for me. I can't deny the fact that I want someone to love me, but I'm afraid. I'm afraid that one day, when the relationship does not end with 'forever,' how am I going to pick up myself again? How am I going to stitch myself again? My parents never really taught me what is love because of their car accident when I was 15. The orphanage didn't helped at all, so I escaped. Here I am now, caught in between in this crazy and strange thing that is love.
"Elise! Elise! Wake up!" She felt a hand grabbing her shoulders and she just dismissed it.
*slam!* "Ow! Not again... Am I still dreaming?"
"No Elise! And you have to wake up!" said Caren.
Caren pulled Elise very hard that she had no choice but to sit up from her bead.
"Elise, if you have feelings for him, might as well stand up and go change. We have a flight to stop!"Shouted Caren at Elise.
"What? oh!" Elise stood up groggily and started to change her clothes.
"His flight is at 12:00am, and we have an hour to catch up with him! But first drink this, it will wake you up."
Caren gave Elise a lemon flavored juice. She drank everything until the very bottom then felt weird. Elise was still midway at closing her zipper on her jeans that she suddenly lost consciousness.
"That will work. This is for you own good, Elise. I'm really sorry." Caren called Grace on the phone that Elise was successfully knocked down.

12:38 am, Tuesday
Elise starts to blink hard and open her eyes, but she see's a very bright white light.
"Ssshhh. Elise is waking up. Leave them here. Everyone, go out!" Caren whispered.
Elise still thinks that she was dreaming that she thought she heard voices, but the second time she opens her eyes, she just saw a room. She tries to sit up, but she just felt dizzy and lied down again. She was looking at a strange lamp next to a bed side table with drawers. Hey, I don't have a lamp neither a table. She looked to her left and there's a man sleeping beside her. She looked down at her clothes and she was just wearing her sleeveless white shirt that she wears to sleep and she look at her jeans, her zipper wide open and her underwear exposed. She tried to look around the room again. This is not my room! This is a hotel!
"OMG! What did you do to me?" Elise was standing up very fast from the bed and starts hitting the man with a pillow.
"Hmmmm... Sto-stop that..." The man blocking the pillow then it went to the other side of the bed. The man was just waking up, but Elise started hitting him with her fist.
"What the? Ow! Ow!" The man suddenly sat up with just his boxers short on. Elise saw the man just wearing his boxer shorts and blushed. She really could not recognize the face because it was too dark and the lamp was too dim.
"OHMYGOD! OMG! You touched me?!" shouted Elise.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! I didn't know how you ended up here?! This is my room and I just woke up because a woman is hitting me and now she's accusing me that I touched her?! Ridiculous." The man stood up and went to open the lights.
Elise still blinking and trying to process the change of lighting.
"Elise?! What are you doing here?! How did you find me?" asked the man.
"Kato!? What the hell is going on?! Why am I here?!" shouted Elise.
"That's why I'm asking you! I don't know!" shouted Kato. He's still half naked and still wearing his boxer shorts.
"At least put your clothes on!" shouted Elise.
"Hey, I'm not the only one." said Kato while pointing with his lips at Elise's jeans and smiled.
"Argggh! Pervert!" shouted Elise and finally closed her zipper.
"You have a cute underwear by the way." said Kato while putting on his basketball shorts and a white shirt that says I love Stars Wars more than Lord of The Rings. Elise just put her tongue out at Kato and sat down on the lower right corner of the bed. Kato just stands and leans on to the wall next to the left side of the bed.
"Why am I even here? I remember Caren telling me that your flight is at 12am and I was changing my clothes and- No. No no no no. They did this. They set us up." said Elise.
"Wait... Flight? Oh shit! My flight! What time is it?!" asked Kato.
"It's already 12: 45 am. You already missed it." said Elise.
"What?!!!! My 2,000 pesos worth of ticket!" Kato moved next to Elise at the lower right corner of the bed.
Elise stood up and went for the door, but it was locked, so she went back sitting next to Kato, but a little bit closer.
"Kato its locked." said Elise.
"Kato?" Elise looked at Kato who was staring out of nowhere.
"I should have not put my hopes that high. Of course your different. Of course your difficult." Kato stated.
"I'm not that easy, Kato. And I've never had a boyfriend in my entire life. I've had this wall for 22 years. I can't just let someone break it. Then if it didn't work, I'm back to zero? It's too risky for me." said Elise.
"I know. It happen to me and my ex-girlfriend too. She was my first. We were doing okay for 5 years and then... *sigh* I have moved on. "
Suddenly, Kato felt Elise eyes staring into his. Elise starts to lean in and touched Kato's cheeks. She looks at his eyes one more time and he responded. She closed the gap and kisses him. He slowly puts his one arm at the back of Elise, to pull her closer. Elise noticed the arm and she removed her hand from his cheek. She moves it at the back of his neck and started massaging the lower hair. With that move, Kato felt the hunger and started kissing her a bit harder and passionately. Elise could fell her breath slowing. She stops and breathe for a second or two and started nibbling his lower lip. Then Kato just suddenly stopped. Catching for a breath.
"You really like biting my lower lip, do you?" asked Kato with a teasing smile.
"Why? Is there a problem?" asked Elise sexily.
"Nothing. Lets just stop from here okay? Because they just locked a woman and a man inside a room, what's supposed to be the outcome? So, yeah. Let's just stop here. So far, my sanity is still intact."
Elise just started to laugh and laugh hysterically. Suddenly they heard the door unlock and someone enters.
"Care to eat some donuts?" asked Grace.
"Grace!" Shouted Elise and Kato at the same time.
They both ran towards Grace and grabs a piece of donut from the box.
Elise and Kato smiled at each other as powdered sugar was dripping from their mouths.
"I leave this donuts to you guys and this coffee too. Half fun!" Grace placed the box of donuts and coffee on the kitchen table and gave a wink at us and left.
Elise and Kato went to sat down at the table, eating the best donuts from The Donut Shop and drinking coffee and having the best conversations of their lives. Sharing pieces of themselves and a new exciting and adventurous life ahead of them.
