"So revenge is obviously a deeply messed-up expression of vindictiveness. It is hard to even call it evil. It is just plain insanity. A result of deeply messed-up thinking." ~Venkatesh G. Rao
Victoria's POV
I scoffed. Pathetic woman. I thought to myself as I roamed around in circles around a helpless Kate Summers tied down to my kitchen chair.
"You have no idea how good this feels love, I've been wanting to smash your head open since the very first day I saw you, and after so long, I finally get the chance to end your life, what a relief" I said to her, watching her struggle with the silver ropes and wolfsbane in her system.
"YOU BITCH! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU'RE MESSING WITH! I'M A ROYAL WOLF, AND WHEN I'M OUT OF THESE CHAINS, I WILL END YOUR LIFE IN A MATTER OF SECONDS!" She yelled, causing me to laugh at her and grab a chair of my own to seat myself right in front of her.
"See, the only thing you're missing out love is that you won't get out of those chains, because they were made to restrain a royal love, and with all the wolfsbane in your system, you'll be helpless. What's even better is that Chrisitan isn't even going to come and look for you" I uttered, smirking right at her.
Eleven hours earlier...
"Son! Where are you?" I called out, shutting the door to the house as I made my way inside.
"Here!" my sister called out from the kitchen. I rushed inside to find her, my heart racing rapidly.
"Tell me she's dead Sonia" I said, anticipating the bad news by the look on her face.
"She's not. She must have smelled the poison, but she hasn't told anyone yet, but just in case she does, you need to get back into the castle first thing in the morning Vic. You need to take Olivia's look and call her outside the castle, then you need to bring her here. I can take your form and go to your tutoring session, but we have to be very careful, no one can find out" my sister replied, causing me to slop down on the chair next to her.
"Why didn't she drink it? And why on earth hasn't she told anybody if she hasn't found out?" I questioned myself, my mind frustrated of everything that was going wrong.
"Hey, it's ok, we'll get them" my sister cheered from beside me, shutting the flap of her laptop.
*****
I was so tired.
I just wanted to sleep.
I wanted to eat a proper meal with my sister and not worry about who to kill next.
I wanted this to end.
Unfortunately this was just the beginning.
My sisters yelling voice had woke me up instantly and before I knew it my feet were rushing me to her.
"What's wrong?" I groaned once I found her panicking in the kitchen, her laptop screen open.
"This is what's wrong" she pointed at the computer on which Kate was walking towards Christian's room. "I think she's going to tell him" she uttered, causing panic to rise within me "What do we do?"
I paced around the room, my heart getting worse by the minute until an idea finally popped into my head.
"Sonia, how much time would it take you to manipulate a phone call to her phone" She looked at me with pure confusion by answered my question nonetheless.
"About a few seconds why?" she responded taking her seat in front of the computer.
"Alright, I need you to call her from Olivia's phone, but the voice on Olivia's phone has to be ours, get it?" I tried to explain. Sure enough my sister understood as in the next minute her eyes lit up and she faced her screen and placed her hands on the keyboard, firing up completely. In no time, she was connected to a call going to Kate's cell phone.
