The Ride to the Malfoy's was awkward. Supper was awkward. Figuring out sleeping arrangements was awkward. The whole night was basically just awkward.

The guest bedroom in the giant mansion of a home was more than welcoming. You had zero problems falling asleep the moment your body hit the Egyptian satin sheets. Just as quickly as you fell asleep, you were awoke. The lights suddenly flicked on and a gravely voice spoke. "Get up." It was Draco.

"Morning to you too." You yawned and got out of bed with a stretch. The night went by way to fast and the anxiety began to settle in your stomach once more.

He smirked at your comment leaving the room for you to get ready. Once you dressed, you quietly made your way our of the room and down the massive staircase. Draco waited at the bottom for you carrying two bags.

Once you made it to the bottom of the stairs, he handed you one of the bags and gestured to the door.
The two of you didn't speak the entire ride to the train station. He sat eyeing you, as if wondering whether you could be trusted or not.

On the train to Hogwarts, he abandoned you to be with his friends. So much for sticking together.

      "Who's the knew kid?"

"I saw them with Draco Malfoy." The kids whispered throughout the aisles.

You sighed finding a seat and slumping into it. You closed your sections door, giving yourself more privacy and peace. After a while of staring out the window at the passing trees, fields, and towns, the sound of the door suddenly sliding open then shut scared the hell out of you. Draco stood leaning against the door with his head up and his eyes closed as if he was relieved to get away from danger.

You raised an eyebrow at the slim boy as he sighed. "Is everything okay?" You asked shifting in your seat, making yourself take up less space.

Draco opened his eyes and tilted his head towards you before sitting across from you. The sharp featured boy chuckled, then spoke somewhat quietly. "Sometimes I need a break from those bloody idiots."

Some relief came as it seemed like he was being more friendly.

You smiled and lightly laughed at this. You totally understood.
