Finding your way to potions class was no problem, considering the professor literally dragged you in by your ear. "You're extremely late for my class, (Mr/Ms).(Y/L/N)." The professor spat, basically throwing you into the class.
All eyes were on you- again. You hated it when all eyes were on you. Some students began to snicker, as the professor made his way to the front of the class room. Scanning the room, you noticed Malfoy was one of the students laughing. You put your eyes down and moved to the other side of the class room.
You sat in one of the only empty seats next to a boy with dark hair, blue eyes, and glasses. You set your bag on the floor, hoping he wouldn't laugh or make a comment about what just happened.
"Hey." He whispered as the professor began speaking. You looked at him briefly then looked away, so you two wouldn't get vanquished, or something like that for talking. "That's Professor Snape for you." He tried making light out of the embarrassing situation.
You lightly smiled. "Are all the Professors this way?"
The boy shook his head. "No, just him really. I'm sure he means well." The boy opened his book and pointed to his page number so you knew what page. You opened your book and looked at the confusing words.
"I'm Harry Potter." He said holding his hand out under the table for you to shake, but Snape not to see.
If you had water, you would have spit it. "Harry Potter? Like The Harry Potter?" You shook his hand.
"Everyone makes it seem better than it is." He chuckled.
"I'm (Y/N)(Y/L/N)."
"Like the (Y/N) (Y/L/N)?" He joked and you laughed.
Professor Snape cleared his throat and glared at the two of you, clutching his pointer.
You and Harry exchanged apologetic glances and looked back at your books, pretending to pay attention. Draco glared at you and you caught his glance. You had no idea what his deal was; laughing at you, then glaring. You looked back to the board, jotting down notes, pretending you didn't notice his staring.
Harry offered to show you to your next class, since the two of you shared it as well, but when potions class was dismissed, Draco pulled you to the side. "What do you think you're doing talking to Potter?" His two friends smirked at this, as if waiting for a stupid reason to come out of your mouth so they could laugh at you.
You furrowed your brows at him and squinted at him. "What are you doing thinking you can tell me who I can and who I can't talk to? And what was with you laughing at me earlier?" You came back just as angrily.
Draco merely scoffed at this. His scoff then turned to a smirk and the smirk to a chuckle. "Cute." Was all he said. His friends then started snickering when Draco offered them a look.
Rolling your eyes at his childishness, you turned and began to walk away towards where Harry and two of his friends stood.
"I wasn't done speaking with you." Draco hastily said.
"Yeah? Well, I am." You said with not so much as a glance back. You sighed when you reached the trio.
In the group was Harry, a girl with long wavy brown hair, and a boy with red hair and they all had disgusted looks on their faces. Except Harry; he smiled when you approached. "Hello." He said greeting you.
The other two continued to have those looks on their faces as they watched Malfoy and his group walk away. "What did that snake want?" The girl spoke. You couldn't help but to snicker. "I'm Hermione Granger, and this is Ron." She gestured to the boy who shifted awkwardly in his spot.
"(Y/N)." You smiled at them and shook Hermione's hand. At least some people were nice here, you thought.
You just hoped once the school day was over, there wouldn't be too much tension between you and Draco.
