Chapter 23

Bethany: I wake up about 11:00am and decide to go and get everyone breakfast. As I was walking to the bathroom Jenn comes out of her room, I see makeup all down her face as if she was crying. Hey Jenn let's get you cleaned up you have makeup down your face.

Jenn: oh I laugh this is embarrassing, it's fine I'll just take a shower.

Bethany: Jenn you don't have to pretend with us, were here for you talk to us!

Jenn: thanks I say as she comes over and hugs me.

Bethany: no problem, I'm going to go get everyone doughnuts what's you favorite kind?

Jenn: oh I'm fine but thanks!

Bethany: girl just tell me what kind you like!

Jenn: fine I laugh, glazed.

Bethany: okay see you later.

At o2l house..

Jc Pov: I really thought about what my mom said. Iv had relationships where I thought was in love, but losing them didn't feel like this. Losing Jenn felt like a little part of you was ripped out, no matter what she was on my mind. She drives me crazy but in a good way. She brings out the better in people, when your around it's hard not to be happy or smiling. I'm not giving up on her.

Jc&Jenn's text messages:

Jc: hey

Jenn: hi

Jc: What are you doing today?

Jenn: I'm not sure why?

Jc: I was thinking maybe we can meet for lunch or something?

Jenn: umm sure I guess...

Jc: okay I'll pick you up at 1:00pm? We can go to Taco Bell

Jenn: okay but it's fine I can meet you there.

Jc: okay.

Jenn Pov: Jenn why are you doing this to yourself!! I know why, it's cause I still love him. His smile, the way he stairs into your eyes, how positive he is, that feeling that your safe, the butterflies I get when he hugs me, just everything that I feel in his presence is the best feeling. I was in a dark place after losing my grandpa, and even though me and Jc didn't talk just the thought of him brought light to that dark place. But I don't want to hurt anyone, I block people out because I'm not good at sharing my emotions and I also don't want to be hurt.

Jc Pov: I was so happy she said yes, my only fear is that she doesn't have feelings for me anymore. I mean she told the fans #JcPenny was a joke but I don't know.

Bethany: hey Jenn here is your doughnut.

Jenn: thanks!

Bethany: your welcome. Andrea and I are going shopping around 1:00pm want to come?

Jenn: your probably going to think I'm stupid for this but Jc invited me to lunch and I said yes. Then Andrea walk over to us.

Bethany: no your not stupid you can't control feelings. I'm happy that your going to talk to him.

Andrea: me to!

Jenn: okay well I have to go upload my video, then get ready.

Few hours later..

Jenn: I penny board over to Taco Bell. I see Jc sitting by the window. I walk in hey Jc.

Jc: hey!

Jenn: you didn't have to wait until I got here to eat.

Jc: oh I just got here a few minutes ago it's fine.

Jenn: okay.

They ordered there food and sat back down. They ate in silence, and occasionally looked up at each other.

Jc: I finally broke the silence, so how have you been?

Jenn: okay, how about you?

Jc: I have been okay!

Jenn: that's good.

Jc: yeah do you want to go the arcade?

Jenn: yeah sure

Jenn and Jc go to the arcade. They play games for a few hours. They began to play the basketball game.

Jenn: yes I won I said laughing.

Jc: I want a rematch!!!
It was nice to here her laugh.

Jenn: we played again this time I vlogged. I win again!!!

Jc: she's cheating I say laughing and talking to her vlog Camera.

Jenn: uhh no he is just jealous I say to the camera.
** his laugh made me feel so happy it felt like I haven't heard it in forever.

Jenn: I decide to say something stupid it and it could ruin the whole night..
I know this isn't my business but that girl that was in the picture... Is that how you want things? I mean do you want to see other people cause if you do, well I just want you to be happy I say nervously.

Jc: I look down at the table and say she was a mistake. I did it out of anger and confusion.

Jenn: I knew I caused that, I wanted to say so many things but the only thing that came out was sorry.

Jc: for what?

Jenn: causing you to feel that way.

Jc: you shouldn't feel sorry for me, you did nothing wrong.

Jenn: yeah I did I said I don't ... I didn't finish what I was going to say.. Hey let's see who can get more tickets!

Jc: I knew what she was going to say.... But she stopped herself. Yeah I'll beat you this time I say.

Jenn: we will see about that!

Jenn and Jc play at the arcade for another hour..

Jc: yess I win I say and zoom in my vlog camera to Jenns reaction.

Jenn: I say I'll beat you next time!

Jc: I turn of my camera. I had fun today I say and smile.

Jenn: me to well I should get home!

Jc: okay well I'll walk with you since I have to go that way anyways.

Jenn: okay!

They penny board to the apartment. Once they get there they say there byes.

Jenn: bye it was nice hanging with you!

Jc: before she walks to her steps I hug her goodbye. It was a long hug, I felt her chin sit on my shoulder. It just felt right.

Jenn: he pulls me in for a hug by surprise. But not just a friendly hug a really long one. I don't pull away though, instead I sit my chin on his shoulder. It makes me miss him, and I still get butterflies when we touch.

Jc: we finally release from the hug all I can think about is kissing her and saying I love you but I don't. Well tell me when you want to lose to me again and we could go to the arcade.

Jenn: I say haha sarcastically "me lose to you again, today was just peer luck for you.

Jc: I penny board away laughing.

Jenn Pov: I walk inside and try to process what happen. As much as I said no I can't fall again that's the happiest I have been in a while. I just had the biggest smile on my face.

Jc Pov: I penny boarded home with a smile on my face whole way. When I walked inside Connor seen how happy i was.

Connor: what got into you?

Jc: just had a good day I say.

Connor: well it's nice to see a real smile on your face.
