Chapter 31

Jenn Pov: I love living in California with all my best friends, but sometimes I become homesick. It sucks because my parents aren't home there in another country for work so I can't visit them. As I was lying awake in bed thinking about it Jc wakes up.

Jc: "morning beautiful" I whisper in Jenn's ear.

Jenn: whenever he calls me beautiful I still get butterflies in stomach. " morning" I say as I feel him wrap his arms around my waist.

Jc: I was going to try to wake up early and make you breakfast as a surprise but you woke up before me.

Jenn: oh I can go back asleep I say laughing.

Jc: or we can make breakfast together!

Jenn: maybe we should just go out and order something, remember what happen the last time we tried making it together? It ended up everywhere but our stomachs!

Jc: I laugh and say "yeah I guess", where do you want to go?

Jenn: I don't care you can choose.

Jc: let's go to Denny's!

Jenn: okay let me get dressed and put some makeup on!

Jc: you don't need makeup.

Jenn: I will literally look like a zombie, I'm putting it on.

Jc. As she gets up it pull her back to me and kiss her. "By the way you don't look like a zombie you look like an angel."

Jenn: I laugh sarcastically " thanks but far from" I say as I get up to dressed.

Jenn and Jc go to Denny's and eat breakfast then decide to go, go-carting. While they where in line at the go cart place Jc got a call.

••Jc's phone conversation••

Jc: hey mom!

Jc's mom: hey how are you doing?

Jc: good and you?

Jc's mom: good, I was actually going to ask if you can fly up this weekend? The kids miss you like crazy and I can pay for your plane tickets. They also want Jenn to come up!

Jc: umm yeah I think I can arrange that and you don't have to pay I can.

Jc's mom: no no it's fine I'm asking you guys come up!

Jc: mom it's okay I'll see what I can do you call you back later!

Jc's mom; okay love you

Jc: love you to!!

••End of conversation••

Jenn Pov: I heard Jc on the phone talking to his mom, it made me miss mine even more. I guess he could tell by my face expression because he automatically asked what's wrong.

Jc: Jenn what's wrong?

Jenn: nothing.

Jc: come on now I know you better than that!

Jenn: just miss my parents that's all.

Jc: about that actually, my mom was wondering if you and I want to go visit this weekend. I know it's not your family but maybe being surrounded by a family will help a little and Joe Felix and Jaylyn want to see you.

Cashier at go cart place: excuse me, how many times are you going to ride?

Jc: "oh sorry 2 is fine." Then I turn back to Jenn to see if she wants to go. I know it's last minute but the kids love you and really want you to go. And of course I also want you to come I say hugging her from behind.
