Steven's POV:
I leave the room fuming with anger. Frank should learn to keep his fucking mouth shut or out of my business. Now Peggy's upset with me for doing my job. I hate arguing with her.
It's only been day three since Vivian arrived and Peggy's already attached to her. I warned her about these things. You would think she'd learn after the first two girls that went, but no. Peggy's heart is too big, too kind, and she needs to stop.
Yeah okay, the physical abuse was unnecessary, but hell cat seems to know exactly how to provoke me. I thought yesterday's punishment would tame that mouth of hers, yet somehow it only made it worse. I guess I'll just have to keep on punish her until she breaks.
I walk to the room Frank, his nurse and victim are in. I throw the door open to see the nurse and the girl at the bed doing whatever it is they're supposed to. This girl kidnapped the same day as hell cat, yet she's cooperative. I spot Frank leaning against the wall watching them.
"What the fuck dude!?" I growl as I march my way over to him.
"She had the right to know. You would have just blamed it all on the girl and we both know it's not her fault," he says bouncing off the wall and walking towards me.
"It's not your fucking place to say jack shit to anyone that doesn't concern you!"
Our eyes hold some sort of staring competition. We stop walking once the space between us become all but a shoe width and stand square in each other's faces, neither one of us flinch. He has a face that screams 'punch me'.
"Oh but it does concern me. A great deal actually. Or have you already forgotten who my father is?"
Really? The 'my-dad-is-powerful' line? Fuck off.
"How old are you? Five? When are you going to realize that I don't give a flying fuck who that man is? I'm doing my job. You do yours. From now on stay in your lane or I'll put you there myself!" I state gravely.
"Is that a threat?" A sickening smirk spreads across his pan face. I don't understand how girls fall for his tricks and charms each and every time. He's revolting, even physically, to say the least.
"Can you boys please take this outside?" his nurse pleads.
I wouldn't be surprised if he bangs her already. She seems his type. Frank and I glare at each other for a while before turning around to exit the room. As we turn, we see Marcus standing in the doorway. Shit.
"Out of this room right now!" Marcus says intensely.
As we make our way to the door, Marcus steps inside standing sideways, waiting for us to exit before he follows. As soon as I'm out of the room with Frank behind me, I see Peggy marching her way over towards us. What the fuck? I question internally seeing her outraged expression.
"What is wrong with you!?" she bawls at me as soon as she's close enough for me to hear her.
"Peggy, listen. Now is not the-"
"No! You listen to me! How could you!? I told you not to hurt her! Then you decide that that's exactly what you'll go and do!?" Her anger burns through me like acid poured on flesh.
"What's going on here!?" Ah fuck my life. I forgot Marcus is still here.
"I think you should teach him how to treat the girls before I do something about it!" she snaps. Marcus steps closer to her and her head snaps in his direction. The mortified expression on her face indicates that she had no clue in the slightest that it was him. Before she could explain herself, Marcus raises his hand and connects with her face.
