SLYTHERIN!!!!!!"
The Hall went silent. Lily Luna Potter was in Slytherin. The only one actually ok with it was Lily. She walked over to the table that had green ties and sat down. As soon as she did the table erupted with cheers and chants of 'we got a Potter!'
Lily smiled, but her family was in shock. Their precious little Lily Bean was with the filthy Slytherins!
"Welcome to Slytherin." A voice whispered in her ear. She turned and found herself looking at the boy who'd insulted her on the platform.
"Not another stuck up Potter huh?" She glared at him.
"Look I'm sorry about what I said on the platform. There is no excuse for my behavior. But I will say that your brothers act like they are the kings of the school. I thought you'd be the same. I guess I was wrong. I am sorry."
Lily was surprised at his apology but accepted it. She stuck out her hand to shake his and said, "I'm Lily. Lily Potter."
He shook, "Scorpius Malfoy. Boy our Dads'll be please when they hear that we kinda called a truce."
"I don't even want to hear my Dad's response when he finds out that I'm 'one of Voldemort's understudies'." She groaned.
"Does he really call Slytherins that?" Scorpius had a surprised look on his face.
Lily only nodded because food had appeared and she was filling her plate.
"Lily, stick with Slytherins at all times for the first couple of weeks." A tall girl leaned over, "the Gryffindors, actually the whole Potter-Weasley clan will be doing their best to get you to switch sides. Tomorrow is Sunday so you should stay in the common room as much as possible. You are a big deal to the Slytherins already. We'll do our best to keep them away until they calm down."
"Lola, don't scare her." Another boy leaned in, "I'm Mitchell. This is Lola. We're third years."
"Nice to meet you. I'd take your advice but I'm pretty sure there'd be some tremendous hexes flying if I didn't talk to them at least one time."
The next morning Lily made her way to the Great Hall but was stopped by her brothers and cousins.
"Oh your poor thing!" Rose hugged her tight.
"What?" Lily pushed away from them.
"We are doing our best to get you out of the Snake Pit." James told her.
"I don't want to leave. I like them. They're not as bad as you think." She smiled.
"Lily they've already hexed you! You think there're good!" Albums claimed.
"I haven't been hexed and I want to stay. So you can shove your worries where the sun doesn't shine!" Lily yelled.
"Can we help with anything amiss Potter?" A voice said from behind.
Lily turned to find Lola, Mitchel, Scorpius and the whole Slytherin Quiditch team.
"Butt out snakes." Louis spat.
"We weren't asking you Weasley. We were talking to Lily." Scorpius said calmly.
"Lily doesn't tolerate snakes, Malfoy." James pushed Lily behind him.
"Really? Because from what we heard she like being a snake." Lola fingers reached for her wand inside her robes.
"She's 11. She can't be trusted to make good decisions." Molly spoke up.
"I can too. And I'll thank all of you to butt out of my business. I was put where I belong. Whether you like it or not." Lily yelled pushing her way towards the Slytherins who quite literally welcomed her with open arms. Well Lola did. She held Lily as though she was her sister.
"Lithe captain of the Slytherin Quiditch team spoke up, "We Slytherins will thank you to leave our Slytherin Princess alone."
"'Slytherin Princess'?" James exclaimed.
"You know what these filthy snakes aren't worth our time. We don't know any Lily Luna Potter. There isn't one. I only have one sister. Her name is Minnie. The Potter-Weasley clan doesn't need to tarnish its blood with Slytherin." Albus said. He turned and walked into the Hall. The others muttered their agreement and followed him.
"That was low." Mitchel said, "Even by Slytherin standards."
"Lily, are you ok?" Scorpius looked down at the first year in front of him.
"Yes I'm fine. Can we get breakfast in the common room?"
"Yep. I'll go tell the elves to prepare something." One of the Quiditch players said. And he ran off.
"I'll meet you guys there. I have something I need to do." Lily walked off after the others had left. She raised her trainers wand and pointed its at her cousins who were Metamorphagi.
"Remove this spell without a fuss, you're no longer a Metamorphagus." She then snapped her trainers wand making the effects permanent. Then she mailed a letter to her parents telling them about her first morning. On her way down to the dungeons she smiled to herself. She knew she was finally going to figure out who Lily Luna Potter was.
