Maggie Helgen was 17 and about to graduate high school. People thought she was stuck up but really she was hiding a secret. Behind closed doors, Maggie was holding her family together and if anyone found out, they would be split apart forever.
At 21, Marco Santos was the University's acknowledged player. Hot, ambitious, successful, the product of a charmed life. He was studying architecture by day, working behind the bar after dark, and taking a different flavor to bed each night.
One night, Marco found a drunken Maggie outside his dorm. He tried to be a nice guy and let her in.
What happened next was a major mistake.
