“We...wanted to surprise you” Van starts, but sighs heavily. The clothes they wore hung loosely, making me think some or both ran home while I slept.
“Surprise me?” Keeping my fingers in a slow rhythm, giving them an annoyed look. It seemed to work, Owen huffed shoving his hands into his pockets.
“This is so wrong” He growled, glaring at Van.
“Shut up, we don’t have a choice now” Growling back at him.
“Not suppose to happen this….way” Owen looks away from his brother, making me cock my head.
“Guy?” Pushing off the wall.
“Riae we had really on doing this right” He sighed rubbing his head.
“But were not good at this, and you already hear so.” Clearing his throat, turning to Owen who stepped up so he was in line with Van. Both rub their faces, before speaking.
“Riae Butler, will you marry us?”………..
Well Fuck!…………
~Twins~
She paled then twisted into a greenish color, before bracing herself against the wall. Maybe they shouldn’t of said anything. They turned to one another, worry flashed before them both.
“Are…are you serious?” She croaked, holding her other hand to her chest.
“Yes” Owen replied, as he to retrieved a small black box out of his pocket. Both brothers held them out to her, waiting for her do something….anything. Biting her lip Riae pushed off the wall, slowly walking to them like a frightened kitten. Picking up both boxes she popped the lids open on both with her thumbs, gasping loudly before her eyes started to glass over. Her lip trembled, as tears spilled from her eyes.
They brothers lurched forward, worried they’d messed up. Had they not gotten the right color, size, diamond, style….any of which they could change.
“Riae what’s wrong?” Van asked, rubbing her arm. She shook her head, unable to speak. They worried she was saying no, but she made a smile through the tears.
“Which one goes on first?” She asked letting more salty tears stream down her beautiful face. Looking at one another, they didn’t quiet know what to say.
“Are you saying yes?” Owen asked. She nodded yes, biting her lip once more.
“Yes…Yes I’ll marry to both” Kissing them both. Pushing their lips all over her neck she squealed out, wiggling around their hold.
“This one goes inside that one” Van pointed, as she pulling both the rings out doing what he said. Slipping it over her finger it fit perfectly, the 14K black gold band sported the second largest black diamond they could find. If they had gotten her the largest they were almost certain, she would of lectured them on it. At least this way they had a little play, if she gave them a hard time. Four rows of clear diamonds lined the edges, creating a very stunning look on her finger.
As soon as she had it securely placed on her finger, she began jumping around like a baby kangaroo. Laughing hysterically and grinning a mile wide.
“Do you like it?” Van asked, even though he new it was a stupid question.
“Do I like it? Are you kidding me, I love it. Black is my favorite color. I’m so glad I faked knowing what you were up to” She froze seeming to remember what she just blurted out, both Owen and Van twisted their smiles, giving her a ‘what was that’ look. She laughed nervously, trying to get out of trouble. Owen tapped his foot, coping her once behavior.
“Come again?” Van asked, taking a step to her.
“You know” Shrugging, she bit her lips.
“No were don’t” Owen urged, though he wasn’t the least bit mad at her. It was hard being mad at Riae to begin with, but with her cheeks in flamed and a wide grin on her face she was looking even more stunning in the low lights. Riae laughed a little more nervously, as she backed up hitting the table with her behind. She shifted her weight, trying to keep an eye on them before darting into the living room. It was useless there was only one exit, and two of them. But then again, the twins never did like to play fair when it came to their personal items.
“No….no” She huffed, pointing her index finger at them. They grinned moving slowly, like raptors on the hunt. Her eyes bulged when they leaped at her, like an alley cat Riae twisted around them leaping onto the couch and laughed hysterically away. Groaning the twins ran after her, hearing her bedroom door close and lock. Banging on it they ordered her to open said door, which they were calmly answered with a.
