God they had to make it, no wonder she was all for them leaving. She new damn well they’d never agree to her fighting use a beast, not in a million fucking years. Their Riae had tricked them, of sorts just like in her apartment. The view of the ring came in clear, when they spotted her she was just slipping in a mouth guard. They hadn’t realized they screamed for her, it could only of sounded broken, hurt and angry. Her eyes met theirs, a faint smile before her eyes gave her answer.
I’m doing this……………
Her slender body climbed into the ring, O’Neil was positively ecstatic. Talking shit the whole time from the other corner, trying to get a rise out of her. But she stood silently waiting for the horrible sound, a sound the twins loved hearing, now they wanted to smash that bell to pieces. Everything in them scream, as they hurried to the closer part of the ring.
“RIAE!” She looked over her shoulder. Dressed in a black sports bra, matching shorts. Her hands were wrapped along with her feet, a purple mouth guard. Hair tied back letting it drape over the ropes, along with her arms.
“GET OUT OF THERE” Owen didn’t have a choice but scream, the room was going wild. A woman fighting O’Neil was a match never seen before, since men couldn’t beat him what chance did she have.
“RIAE!” She refused to answer them, it further coughed panic to rise. Van grabbed his hair leaning over the railing, while his brother stared at her with such anger he swore to the gods he’s give her hell for this….if she didn’t die. A heavy hand landed on both of them, turning to see her father and brother.
“Enough, she isn’t the kind of woman to back down.” He said looking at his daughter, who gave him and her brother a nod. They were going to argue but that horrible bell rang, and the roar from O’Neil snapped all heads in their direction. Riae was light as a feather on her feet, swiftly dodging the larger man’s attack. He swung his fists at her, trying to get any hit on her. Side stepping she made sure to keep her feet always moving, nothing seemed to take her concentration away from him. Was this what she meant buy fighting with all your mind, heart, and body.
She should have had wings, as her feet and body moved in a way that they had never seen before. Graceful even in a fight ring, it was like a dangerous dance. Her father crossed his arms, while Brad leaned on the metal fencing. They were blank but watched, eyes moving after her moves just to keep up.
“She’s an excellent fighter” Her father said, not bothering to look away. He continued if only to make them less uncomfortable, about being so close to her family.
“When she was little Riae had a skill I’d not seen in most of my fighters.” His eyes looked over to the twins, seeing if they could watch Riae and listen at the same time. They gave a short nod, before he continued.
“Her skills in the ring is hard to understand, even the judges weren’t sure where to put her. When Riae steps into a ring, she sees nothing else but the fighter in front of her. Unlike some fighters who can become distracted, she does not.” He nodded to Riae, who’s face hadn’t changed. Blank with no life floating through it, even when O’Neil landed a hard blow to her side. She moved with it, side stepping.
“Shit!” Owen palmed the fence, shaking it.
Another blow to her legs, then another to the back. He was racking her over an over again, but she never showed a single weakness towards it. They watched as O’Neil punched her square in the jaw, twisting her head. Blood dripped down her lip, those stunning eyes had a bruise over the left one. Again Owen slammed the fence, that was his baby his woman in there.
“Relax” Butler said, running a hand through his hair.
“What the fuck do you mean relax. My soon to be wife is in there” Owen roared, getting looks from both her family. Her brother looked like he could very well shit himself again, if he had anything left.
“Your purposed to her?” He asked. They both nodded, getting wider eyes.
“Both of you?” Brad turned green.
