Appearance: Long caramel hair falls down to her shoulders and dark brown streaks are at the edges of her hair. She carries dimples and a sharp jawline that could cut diamonds. When she gazes at people she captivates their attention with her piercing green emerald eyes. In her district, she obtains the average height of 5'6 and she certainly towers over her father. Mahogany has soft, light brown tannish skin that seems to darken every summer.

Personality: Mahogany's actions speak louder than her words. Since she is the daughter of the Mayor of District 5, many upper-classmen expect her to act rich and snobbish. She avoids acting like that and she treats others like any other person. When she meets someone she doesn't base the person off of stereotypes. Mahogany never judges a book by its cover and she shares her smiles and hugs. Amongst her family, she would qualify to be the most innovative, intelligent and athletic. Once being friends with the sweet girl, people often notice she still acts lady-like even though she is athletic.

1) She has good accuracy when it comes to range weapons.

2) Mahogany has the ability to hold her breath for a large amount of time.

4) She is a problem solver and she likes to be innovative in any sticky situation

The Reaping....:

Hopefully, nothing will change this year. The Capitol are going throw children in an arena again. Torture them in any way possible. Mahogany preps herself in front of her vanity mirror set. Putting light touches of make-up and lipstick. Mahogany stands from her chair and she admires her simple dress. 

She wanted to decide her attire, so she went with a rose-gold dress, which has been hiding in her a closet for who knows when, and the dress hugs her body well. "Mahogany, honey we need to go now," Mahogany's father warns her.

She puts on some white sneakers because she doesn't really mind wearing sneakers with a dress. Mahogany burst through her room door and stumbles coming down the stairs. After the last step, she is met with her father, wearing a simple suit, and her mother in a blue dress. Even though we are a rich family, Mahogany never understands why she should wear nice clothes. It's just the reaping and not a special occasion.

Father and mother go up the stage, whilst Mahogany had her finger pricked and stamped. She walks straight to the 17-year-olds. She is the only one wearing decent clothing and all the other females are wearing attires that would be given a poor rating from fashion critics. 

Missy our district escort came to the mic and she did the usual. Her words become inaudible until she heard her heels clicking against the wooden boards and she walks over to the bowl that is filled with all of  District 5's females in it: including her name.

Her pale white hand enters the bowl and scavenged for an unfortunate girl. Her hand grasped a name tag and she yanks it out the glass bowl. "Mahogany Plummet!" Mahogany's eyes widen at the calling of her name. It is rare for a Mayor's child to be picked for the games, but it's simply absurd. 

Mahogany's legs finally thaw and she begins to take quick strides to the stage. She is careful of her expression as she wants to show that she will do great things in the arena. But never once has killing crossed her mind and now that she is picked. 

The burden that she will be amongst the children who have to kill each other for a chance at life again. Mahogany looks back at her parents and the simply give her pitiful smiles. She sighs and turns toward the crowd of District 5's children. 

Mahogany is determined. She needs to win. No, she wants to win. Any challenge was given to her, Mahogany will face those challenges mentally and physically. But she may have to take lives to win this. 

It may not be right, but what can she do?
