Will's POV

The next morning I got up early and went down the road a bit and saw a farm. It looked suspicious to me so I got out of the car and went to go check it out. The deeper I went into the field the more hairs on my arms would stand up. A constant paranoia stayed with me as I waved the flash light here and there. The only thing that I saw was a scarecrow. To me scarecrows are creepy. A voice echoed through my skull. Will come save us. We need your help. She's after us and she won't stop until she finds you and your girlfriend. Save us Will I trust you. Then it ended it made no sense. The voice sounded familiar but at the same time it wasn't.

I looked at the scarecrow once more and realised what was a attached to it; a knife. Which was most likely how people were dying throughout this town. Quickly I raced back to the town to check on Amber. "Amber?" I said concerned.

"Yeah?" She replied.

"Did you just wake up?"

"Maybe."

I chuckled and walked in to see she had an adorable little bear with her. She looked embarrassed as we cheeks grew red. "It's cute," I told her.

"You really think so?" Amber asked unsure.

"Yeah, I never had something like that to be honest."

She smiled and put it away. "Sorry the bear is my comfort object," she shrugged.

"I completely understand, by the way I know what we are up against."

"That's good, do you know to defeat it?"

"That's a work in progress."

"Okay how are you going to figure out how to destroy it?"

"I'm going to make a phone call, you know like a normal person."

"I hate you," she replied throwing a pillow at me.

"Don't lie you love me," I grinned as I tossed a pillow back at her.

A small pillow fight arose and eventually Amber was on the bed. While I had her pinned down, a pillow stuck between our chests. Amber looked me dead in the eye and they turned a icy blue color, but only for a moment. I blinked my eyes quickly to make sure I wasn't dreaming; I wasn't. She tilted her head in confusion and I just smiled and told her it was nothing. Amber seemed to buy it. I got off and grabbed my phone and called my uncle, Joe. The phone rang then sent me to voice mail. "Hey Joe, look I need you to look up information about a sacrifice that revolves around harvest season. Oh and scarecrows, anyways thanks," with that I hung up and Amber looked at me surprised.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You just don't look like the type to make a phone call it's abnormal," Amber said moving her fingers up and down as she walked away to the shower.
