Dragons Race to the Edge - One of a Kind (Hiccup X Reader)

Chapter 1 - Dragon Riders?

Running. Fire. Hotness. That was all around me. Well can't blame me I'm on a rampage and for a dragon, that's not good. I'm a Night Fury. Well not a full blooded one. My name is (Y/N), and I can transform into any dragon. I know sounds cool to some and then some are like what a freak. I know I've been a freak and lived on my own since 5 years old. Crazy? No not really. See I'm mad because some people tried to catch me. Did I kill them? No. Did I scare them? I hope so. Now all my anger has to be release in someway this is my way. My color is dark blue, with a pink heart on my head. My eyes are turquoise blue. 

But I stop dead in my tracks and I look up hearing another one. My eye went slit and I ran and ran. I ran but I stop at a cliff. This cliff was to high for me to jump off and fly. I'm not a fan of heights but I know I'm a dragon but human too. I turned around seeing five dragons with 6 people on them. They all had shock faces on them. What never seen a Night Fury? There's one right there hello. The boy on the Night Fury got off and look at me. I notice he had no leg, his eyes where dark green and his hair was brown. He slowly made his way towards me before I growled and back away.

I stop seeing as I couldn't go back any further. Everyone got off their's and watch him trying to pet me? Not working I snap at him and his eyes softened at me.

"Easy girl, I'm trying to help you." He said softly and my eyes soften but I didn't let me guard down. He tried to pet me and I snap again. He nodded his head and back away and I growled at him again. He stood beside his dragon and thought. He then told something to his dragon and he walk towards me. Seeing another Night Fury is strange he made cute sounds and I calm down. I walk towards him and we smelled each other. But when I saw the boy walk towards me I hiss and the Night Fury let me knew it was okay. I look at the boy, I couldn't trust him so I back away as he tried to pet me again.

"She doesn't trust me but trust Toothless more because he's another of her kind. I'm trying to contain myself of seeing another one." He said walk side to side. The big kid beside his Gronckle spoke.

"Maybe is Toothless could make her follow us back to the Edge we might be able to gain her trust. I mean she's another Night Fury for crying out loud. We might be able to save them." I gag at what he said. Okay, I know I am one but I'M HUMAN TOO. Wait, they don't know that. Toothless walk over to Hiccup I follow him but I didn't get close to that Hiccup boy. 

"Let's go back to the Edge." He got on Toothless and they all went up in the air and look at me. I roared and flap my wings but didn't fly. They landed. 

"What's wrong she isn't missing a tail like Toothless." A girl said on her Deadly Nadder.

"Or maybe she is missing one but doesn't want us to know she's missing one." A guy said on his Zippleback and I wish I could give him a WTF face right now.

"Well maybe she doesn't know how to fly. Astrid and the twins be on her right side. Fishlegs and Snotlout be one her left side, Toothless and I will be in front and she will follow remember don't get that close to her or she'll fire." Hiccup said they got beside me but not that close that's good for me. I hate having people close to me. Hiccup and Toothless started to walk forward and I followed them slowly while everyone was following beside me not getting any closer.

We made it to I think they call it 'The Edge'? I was shock to see so many houses and defenses and everything. They must enjoy living here. When we got here Hiccup place a basket of fish in front of me and I look at them. He back away and I went to the fish and ate them all. I felt better after having food. When was the last time I had food? He walk towards me and I look at him. He reach his hand out and he close his eyes moving his head to the side slightly. I sniff his hand and let him touch me nose. He look at me and smiled and rub my head. I purred and lick his face, he laugh at led me inside his place.

"Toothless why don't you and this dragon sleep together huh?" Seem like Toothless didn't mind it. I yawned and lick my gums since my teeth weren't showing at the moment. Toothless snuggle against me and went to sleep. The boy crawled into bed and smiled at me. Blew out the candle and went to sleep. I closed my eyes and slept.

I woke up in the morning seeing Hiccup over me and having a confused look. What the hell are you looking at? I look seeing me having hands. Oh I'm in my human form now huh? 

"Who are you? Where's the Night-" Before he finish he saw all the scars and cuts on me. My clothes were rip and he help me up.

"Sorry but let's get you fix up." He led me out of his place with Toothless behind us. Everyone seem so confused and followed us. He sat me down and clean my cuts for me, I look at everyone, I tense up.

"Sorry everyone, we have a visitor. Her name is..." He look at me.

"I'm...(Y/N)..." I said quietly and everyone look at Hiccup.

"Really Hiccup, another person? Perhaps another dragon rider huh?" The kid by the name of Snotlout said and I shot him a glare and Hiccup put a hand on my shoulder.

"She is staying here for as long as she wants." Hiccup said and everyone left to do their own stuff and he look at me. "Let me show you around the Edge." I nodded and followed him around all day learning about the Edge, where everything is and what to do if I saw trouble. I sat down in front of the Edge, hanging my legs off. I watch the sunset like I use to when I'm a dragon. Hiccup sat beside me and I look at my lap.

"So how do you like it here?" He ask and I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know. I guess it's alright. It's not like home, but it will work." I said and he smiled and moved closer to me. I didn't blush but felt butterflies in my stomach. I felt his arm go around me.

"Don't worry as your with us. You'll be safe." He said and smiled at me. I smiled and layed my head on his shoulder. I just forgot one thing. What is he gonna do if he sees me transform?
