Chapter 2

Malia ran at Theo and pushed him to the ground and started to punch him in the face. It took Scott a while to comprehend what was going on before he ran up to Malia and pulled her off of Theo. "Malia stop we can just use the sword and send him back" Scott tells her and she stops trying to hit Theo.

"oh, didn't you hear?" Theo provokes with a smirk on his face "your little beta broke the katana".

"what the fuck Liam?" Scott says.

"I knew there was a reason as to why I wanted to punch you in the face, well actually make that two. One for bringing him back!" Malia says pointing towards Theo "and two for breaking the katana" Malia was about to run at Liam and hit him, but before she could Scott grabbed onto her arm and held her back. "fine I guess we will have to kill Theo then" Malia says and goes to jump at Theo, but before he realised what he was doing, Liam stood between Theo and Malia.

"Malia don't. I brought him back, I am responsible for him" Liam says while standing in front of Malia practically terrified. Liam turned to face Scott "Scott please. He saved me from being taken by the ghost riders. Twice." Scott grabbed Malia and handed her to the others telling them to take her out of her.

"go, I want to speak to Liam alone." Scott told them. Hayden wanted to stay with Liam, but Liam told her to leave and she pouted like a child and walked away. Scott grabbed Theo by the collar of his shirt and pulled him up to his feet "I don't trust you, but I trust my beta and if he says that you saved his life then I am willing to let him be responsible for your life. But mark my words Theo, if you even think about hurting my pack I will kill you myself" Scott warns then turns to Liam and says "you are responsible for his life Liam." Scott lets go of Theo and walks away.

Theo and Liam turn to face each other. "just so you know I'm not a hugger so if you were expecting a hug for saving my life then sorry to disappoint" Theo says with a smirk.

"don't worry about it, I wasn't even expecting a thank you." Liam says "so it's not really disappointing".

"I'm just going to leave now" Theo starts to walk away when he feels a hand wrap around his arm.

"wait" Liam says and Theo turns to face him with a raised eyebrow "stay out of trouble and don't even think about doing something evil or I will kill you".

"whatever you say Dunbar" Theo says and Liam lets him go. Theo walks off and Liam watches him go, when Theo gets engulfed by the darkness Liam turns and heads out of the woods. He walks all the way back to his house and there he finds Hayden sitting on the steps on his porch. When she sees him she jumps up and hugs him. "what did Scott says? Is Theo finally dead?" she goes to kiss him but he pulls away.

"Scott said that Theo is my responsibility and no Theo is not dead" Liam says then let's go of Hayden "look I am really tired so I'm just gonna go to bed"

"I'll sleep with you." Hayden says

"no Hayden just go home. I will see you tomorrow" Liam says and walks past Hayden and into his house. He locks the door and heads upstairs to his bedroom. He goes to take a shower to wash away the events of the night, he then changes into a pair of pyjama bottoms and gets into bed. He starts to drift off to sleep when he hears a knocking at the window and practically falls out of bed. He walks to the window and opens it "Hayden I thought I told you..." he freezes when the scent hits him "Theo?"

Theo jumps into Liam's room through the now open window and says "sorry to disappoint but I'm not your girlfriend"

"what the hell are you doing here?" Liam asks whispering so he doesn't wake up his parents.

"well I don't really have a place to sleep so I was wondering if I could crash on your floor for just tonight?" Theo half asks.

"what about your house?" Liam whispers angrily.

"I can't go there some other family bought it after my parents sold it and I can't just break into the house or they might call the police. And I honestly don't have the energy to deal with the police right now Dunbar. So can I just crash here for tonight only then I will get my own place tomorrow." Theo explains and sits on the edge of Liam's bed.

"fine but only for tonight and you are sleeping on the floor." Liam says and goes to get Theo a pillow and blanket. "here" he hands them to Theo and gets into his bed "I'm going to sleep now". Theo lays down on the floor but doesn't sleep because he knows what happens every time he closes his eyes, so he just settles for watching Liam sleep.

Light starts to pour into Liam's room and Theo realises that it's morning, so he gets up and folds the blanket putting it and the pillow by the window before he jumps out of the window and lands on his feet. He walks away from Liam's house and goes to look for an apartment.

Liam wakes up to a loud knocking coming from his door, he turns to face the door just in time to see it open and Hayden walk in with a smile on her face that turns into a frown when the scent hits her. "so this is why you didn't want me to stay over last night, because you were sleeping with Theo." Hayden angrily whispers so that she doesn't wake Liam's parents. "you know Liam if your gay you can just tell me. But this is good because I am in love with someone else too. We are over Liam" Hayden walks out of his room and runs out of his house and leaves. Liam starts to sob in his bed. After five minutes of crying he decides to go and look for Theo so he can kill him.
