natasha startled as she heard a loud vibration that awoke due to her phone against her night stands
"morneeeeeeeeeeeeen!!!" is what the text read. natasha formed a tiny smile at the adorable message she just received.
"morning, beautiful"
"hi!"
"are you ready for tonight"
"i was born ready negovanlis"
"okay. oh and bring a coat"

"just do it dork"

natasha spent the entire day setting up the perfect spot to ask elise the long awaited question. she went to over 10 stores just to get the perfect flower and that's not even counting the other stores she went to for the other items.
once natasha had finally gotten every single thing she needed for tonight, she went home and continued to plan out her idea.
she had been brainstorming and concentrating so hard that she totally lost track of time. it was almost time for her to go, so she got up and got dressed. she put on black jeans, a beautiful charcoal gray sweater, booties, a choker, and a coat just in case it gets too cold.
"okay im coming to pick you up"
"i'll be ready :)"

natasha had parked in front of elise's apartment complex and texted elise that she had arrived.
"i'm here"
a few minutes later, elise walks out with a beautiful long sleeved shirt dress that wasn't too casual, but not to fancy either. her hair glistened in the sunlight and her smile was from ear to ear as she spotted natasha. she looked absolutely beautiful.
once natasha saw elise, she got out of her car to open elise's door, "holy crap. you look so. wow." elise chuckled and got into he car, "you look wow too"
natasha went back to the driver's side and got into her car. she couldn't stop staring at how perfect elise was. elise caught her staring, "what are you doing" natasha zoned back into reality, "you're just so beautiful." elise blushed and kissed natasha's cheek, "you are more beautiful"
natasha started to drive after convincing elise that they can agree to disagree on who is more beautiful. the whole ride elise begged natasha into telling her where they were going, but natasha wouldn't budge.

they pulled up to the place. it was a building. tall, in fact. taller than any building that surrounded it. natasha took elise's hand and led her to the entrance. after walking into the building, they took the elevator to the very tippy top. "nat, what is going on" natasha took elise's hand and smiled, "shhhh, sweet girl you'll find out soon"
after a while they had finally reached the top. the elevator door opened and they walked into the empty room. all that was visible was a door that lead to the rooftop. natasha opened the door and elise came after. once elise had set her eyes on the setting in front of her she started tearing up. there were fairy lights dangling above the entire rooftop, soft and sweet romance songs playing in the background, candles sprouted around the area, a blanket, an entire picnic, and rose petals on the ground. the sun was setting so everything looked so incredibly beautiful and perfect.
"natasha" natasha smiled and got closer to elise, "you like it?" elise didn't verbally respond, but instead crashed into natasha and hugged her so tightly. after a moment she mumbled into natasha's shoulder, "i love it so much. it's so beautiful" natasha responded, "not as beautiful as you" natasha could feel elise body move when she started giggling, "don't start that debate again!" "sorry sorry. you're just so beautiful" elise pulled back and smiled at natasha. natasha leaned forward and kissed elise's temple, "alright come on over and sit with me"
the two sat down on the blanket and opened the picnic. the basket revealed their dinner, chicken pasta with pesto, breadsticks, and of course champagne. "nattttttt you brought champagne?!" natasha gave a small smile, "i wanted to watch the stars with you and drink champagne. just like carmilla and laura. because you'll always be my laura."
the two ate their dinner and talked with one another the entire time. they talked so much that the sun had disappeared and the sky was replaced with a dark hue and splattered with stars. "hey wanna look at the stars now?" elise nodded and smiled at the same time, "of course i do"
they both laid down on the blanket and looked in awe at the stars. whether there be conversation or silence surrounding them.
after a couple of minutes natasha looked over to her right side and stared at elise. elise noticed this and turned towards natasha, "what's wrong" "absolutely nothing. everything is so right with you. you are perfect. even a star dreams to be you. your beauty, your personality, your humor, your everything. you light up my life and guide me through the rough. you are my light. you are my star. and i always want you to be. so uh. elise? will you be mine?"
nothing escaped elise's mouth and she laid there with tears forming in her eyes. natasha kissed her tears away and tucked her hair behind her ear. natasha got closer to elise and embraced her and stroked her hair, "you don't have to answer right now. it's alright sweet girl. im right here"
