"You don't actually believe them...do you?"
"Of course I don't!" MC says, but then sighed, "It's just... Why can't you show yourself?"
"Because... I'm here secretly. No one should know that I'm with you."
"Why?"
"Cause it's a secret."
MC frowned as she rolled her eyes in frustration, "This secret made everyone think I'm going crazy."
Zen sat in silence, he smiled painfully at her and said, "Please. You have no idea of how much I want everyone to know about us. "
He took her hands away from his hair, held them gently and kissed them, "Just a little more time Babe..." he said.
"I'm scared." MC muttered as she inhaled a sharp breath, "I'm scared of everyone turning their backs on me."
"Can't we just run away together and be like this please?" She asks.
"MC??"
The two flinched as MC's mother knocked on the door. Zen, took a glance at it, and then he looked at her again. MC held his wrists, in hopes he would stay. He shook his head and whispered, "Sorry." With an apologetic smile.
MC looked down, her hands falling to her lap, she left the game of his ruby eyes. Zen looked at her apologetically, before turning away and left through her window, saluting before he went off. MC sighed, wiping her tears as she opened the door and replied to her mom.
"Yeah?"
"Who are you talking to?"
"Zen."
"..."
"Why?"
"..."
"..."
"Honey, we all know he's not real."
