P Is Silent.

chapter 19

It's been confirmed,  to all of you ladies out there who has your eyes clued on our handsome but ever quiet Alexander  Taylor, you have lost the game. After walking in his office with the beauty a few days ago, the two were spotted together  again . When asked Mr Taylor declined to comment,  but a reliable source confirmed our suspicions. The lady in question also suspected to be a princess is indeed in arelationship with Mr Taylor. All we have to say is ' we always knew you where a king worthy of a queen Alex.

I re-read that line over and over again, the news paper looking as if it had been chewed by a cow a couple of times.

I was panicking, my phone was ringing non-stop and I, I couldn't think straight.

Alexander was not around, he left a few minutes ago to go to work. By the time he comes back and the way I was pacing around, his floor would of lost colour.

I tried to think of a solution but came blank. "Princess,  your phone, it's your father." I dreaded the feeling, perhaps he had found out of the media this side knowing and knowing my father he was gonna blow.

With shaking hands I reached for the phone. " hello?" I questioned. My voice was shaking.

"My child how are you?"  I paused,  looked at the phone as if it had answers to my question. As if it will tell me why the king wasn't blowing this out of proportion.

"Ahh......I'm fine father how are you, sister and mother?" I asked, sensing it was better to ignore anything else. " Oh they are fine, I called to inform you about the news. Are you aware that you and Alexander are on every media?" He asked and I swear it felt like I was loosing my ability to do what I do best, which was to breath.

"..ahmm. ..yes I am aware,and I promise you father neither I or Alex informed the...." I couldn't finish my defence, the king laughed a little before he said.

"I knew the day I saw him, you too mix well, now the whole world knows. I'm so proud of you my clild, you have proven to me that indeed I was right to make you my successor."

I could literally feel his fond smile from where I stood and although I never wanted to be a successor or do I want to be now, I couldn't bring myself to shutter his happiness.

"Thank you father." I told him.

"Do pass my greetings to my son in law will you?" He said before dropping the call.

I stood there surprised, Grey had done what I could never do, which was turning a good situation into a bad one.

He didn't even say a thing to my father yet he seemed to approve of him greatly and in all honest I should be getting jealous now...I mean who let's their unofficially boyfriend /fake fiance have so much approval from their father right?

I smiled, this was Grey, my Grey no matter how annoyed he seemed to be, he may not have been the friendliest out there but let's face it no one could resist his charm. Dare I say it, I might be the princess but I was so lucky to have him in my life.

I walked to the kitchen to find two of my guards charting a storm while eating cereals with the two ladies who came to clean now and then.

The other man in black followed behind me." Alright people we have a lot to do,tonight we are cooking a feast, all of you should have eaten and got out of sight before Alexander arrives. Now let's move it people." I told everyone while clapping my hands to emphasise my point.

No one spook or moved, they all just stared at me as if I just caught them stealing sugar, I got irritated and whistled loud. Once I head them groan, I knew my point was heard.

Five hours later I had, tired looking faces around the room. We had manage to clean the house faster, do the laundry and cook a feast.

I should of been tired myself but the thought of Alexander's face had me hyper.

It was weird how it hadn't been a week since I told Alex how I feel, heck it hadn't been a week since I accepted my feelings towards him, yet here I was preparing a romantic dinner for us.

If there was anything I learned about Alex, it would probably his fear of a relationship, I was ready to take the lead if need be.

I loved him that much, heavens knows I was always thrilled at the prospect of diving into the unknown.

I was ready to do that just with Alexander, I was going to save him from the world, save him from himself, love him like he has never been loved before even if it was the last thing I do.

I was determined, come rain or thunder I was going to awaken his slow beating heart.
