Restart My Heart (On Hold)

Chapter 8

Seth's POV:

I headed for the stairs but stopped at the last second. Instead of going down I sat on the top step and put my head in my hands. Stupid! Stupid! ...Did I mention I am stupid?  Also horrible. Very, very horrible. You'd probably think, I'm evil for letting my best friend take the fall for my stupid attitude. I just don't want to disappoint Mr .R......Yes, I deserve the punishment. Izzy is most likely going to be mad when she finds out. I ran my hands through my hair. I am a complete idiot. Facepalm. I look down at my watch which read 7:20. Holy cheeseballs!! I gotta get the girls home. I jumped up and jumped down the stairs two at a time. Luckily, Izzy was still playing piano for the guest. She looked up at me, confused. I shrugged as I headed into the kitchen to talk to Mr. R.

Mr. R looked up from his notes as I walked in.

"Hey Mr. R. I have to take my little sisters home. It is almost their bedtime." I said in a slightly chipper tone. He smiled as he said, "Goodnight, I guess I will see you at music practice tomorrow.

Izzy POV:

I waved as Seth left with our little sisters. There was something off about him though. Oh, Seth! I had finished playing piano and was playing Mario cart with Holly. Holly showed up a bit late.  I rode past Holly once again and right into 1st place. I almost drop the controller when I saw Danny speed by me. Oh no way, he is going to win!!

~A few seconds later ~

Danny speed across the finish line. "Hey not fair!!! Rematch!!" I yell. I turn to Daniel, who was smirking. Danny gets up off the floor. "Sorry, but I have to go home. We have school in the morning." 

Abby comes in. "Bye Danny" we all say as he leaves with his dad. Abby sits down in the middle of me and Holly. "Izzy are you going to show Danny and me around tomorrow?" 

"Well. Holly and I will show you around. Seth can show Danny around though." I answer. Holly smirk "if he gets over being jealous right" Holly ask. 

"Hey don't say that about Seth. He is just in a mood" I say a bit annoyed. There was silence as Holly and I played another game. Until Abby broke the silence. "Izzy, Daniel wanted to know if you needed lessons. " 

I drop my controller. Does her cousin think I'm bad? Does he know?

Mr. Robison's POV

I watched Seth leave with his little sisters. I know his secret. I know he lied about the incident during youth group. I was hoping he would confess. I see a lot of potential in that boy.
