Who do you say I am? -Jesus
3rd person POV:
Mr. Robison got home a little after 11 o'clock. It felt like an unseen darkness was settling over the small town of Hope Valley. He couldn't shake the feeling Abby's accident was just the beginning. Abby walked slowly behind him. Her mind was racing trying to comprehend on what what was happening to her. Whenever she got sick it never was this bad. As she was thinking this they reached the door. Mr. Robison unlocked it and they walked in. Izzy and Daniel could be heard in the kitchen talking.
"We're home," Mr. Robison said as he walked into the kitchen. Daniel looked up worried. "So... I-I-Is she okay?" Daniel asked quickly.
Mr. Robison sighed as he pulled a chair out and sat down next to Daniel. "Well there's good news...and then there's bad news...Abby come here."
Abby dragged her feet as she walked in. Her head was down in despair. "The good new is that I'm fine." Abby whispered. "The bad news is they don't know what happened so they want me to go back a few more times so they can do tests on me."
"It's getting late. Daniel, can you walk Izzy home?" Mr. Robison asked as he looked at the clock on the microwave. "You guys have school tomorrow.

"Do you believe any of this?" Daniel asked randomly on the way home. He looked over at Izzy who was a bit unsure how to answer. "Believe in what?"
"In the whole...God thing." Danny replied
"Aren't you the one on the mission field?" Izzy shot back. "Don't you see Him moving every day?" Isn't that the job his dad was into?
Danny stopped in his tracks. Honestly, he wasn't sure what he believed. His faith was hanging on a thread that was slowly fraying. Doubt was creeping in and he couldn't push it away. Izzy turned back to face him.
"I beli- ."
"You didn't answer my question." Danny looked up at her.
Izzy looked down and sighed. "I believe that God has a plan in all of this. Even though it seems God isn't here right now." She looked back up at him. Danny couldn't look her in the eye. Here he is blessed and doubting God when Izzy herself had it worse off and still trusted God. "Sometimes it feels like He is miles away though, Izzy." He felt hot tears coming. Izzy didn't know about his mom. And now Abby is sick or hurt!! Even though he just met Abby, it wasn't fair God was taking her from him.
"I know. He is there though. You just need to call out to Him. Jesus says "Who do you say I am?''. I believe he can heal Abby. I call him a savior. He is the reason I am still here."

Izzy's POV:
I walked up to the apartment silently. Joe was probably working late as usual. Seth was probably still awake, waiting for me. As I got closer I saw flashing lights through the window. Seth. I could scare him.....no that's mean.....why not scare him. I got to the door and started making a bunch of clicking noises with my key against the door knob. I could hear him shuffling inside. I smirked as I finally opened the door. As soon as the door opened; Seth jumped over the couch and ran into the kitchen. He didn't even look to see who it was. I shut the door behind me and started laughing. Seth turned to me with a knife in hand
"Wow! Seth, a butter knife? I would be dead by now. You are so sloowww." I tease.
He rolled his eyes as he put the knife on the counter. "Jerk!" He replies as he sat back down on the couch. I jump onto the couch and sat next to him. He was watching the 11th hour without me!!! The 11th Hour was a show about scary true stories. "Well, this explains why I scared you." I teased him. "Did you think I was a serial killer?"
"Sorry, sis I had to know what happened next! You would've done the same thing!" He says as he turned to look at me. His face had changed from his normal smirk to a worried frown. "So how's Abby? What's wrong with her?"
"She just had an accident. She's is fine now......except the doctors wants to run some tests on her this week to actually find out what happened to her." I leaned against him. "She will be fine ok? I promise" I said as I hugged him trying to sound confident. I look up at his face. I could tell he was trying not to cry.
"Umm... yeah, of course, she will be fine. God will heal her. .....Yeah, God can heal her...." He mumbled more to himself than to me.
All of a sudden we heard yelling in mom's room. "Seth! Who's with mom?! Why is mom even home tonight?!" I jumped up. "He isn't here is he?!" I look down at him. He could only nod at me. I walked toward mom's door.
"What makes you think you can walk out on us and then come back and act like nothing happened. She is my daughter! My daughter!!! I don't care if you want to be here for her Quinceanera!!!"
"My Mom already bought tickets here!!! It's going to happen!! She is going to pay for it! All I need is for you guys to play like the perfect family. " I heard a crash.
I tried to open the door. Locked."Seth! Hand me the knife you tried to "kill" me with." Seth grabbed the knife and handed it to me quickly." I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW YOU CAN THINK YOU CAN COME AFTER ALL THAT TIME AND BELIEVE EVERTHYTHING IS OKAY!!" All a sudden there was a crash and then shuffling. Oh no Mom!!! I jimmied the door and threw it open.
He was about to hit her. "Dad stop!!! Please just stop!" I yelled. Dad turned his head to look at me. "Izzy!! Just the person I wanted to talk to." He said with a evil smirk.
Why does he want to talk to me after all these years!?! His smirk scared me but I still step forward to face him. Seth runs past me to check on mom. His eyes stay on me. "Let's do it...go the whole nine yards for the Quinceanera. I'll do it, just stop hurting mom." I said slowly with little confidence.
"Yeah, that's all wanted to hear baby. You hear that?" He said turning to mom. "She said yes." He seemed so happy with himself as he walked past me and out the door like nothing happened. As he passed by I could smell the alcohol on his breath. He only came to the house sober when the girls were awake. Mom always wanted them to see the good side of him. Mom and him would either be fighting or be lovey-dovey with each other when he would visit. Seth and I were reallyy sick of it.
Le time skip:
Mom was fine. A few bruises but alive. Like always.
I sat on my bed as the tears spilled out. I grabbed my glasses off the nightstand. Just 2 weeks and he will be gone....
