How Izzy and Seth met Abby: The beginning of the first day of pre-school was going horribly for Abby. Joy threw food all over her new school outfit. She was late for school. The worst part is she is starting in the middle of the year in a school in a small town. Meaning EVERYONE knew each other. Abby's mom, Grace, walked with her to the door of her class. Abby looked around the class with fear. Abby's mom knew she would be shy at first but knew she would make a lot of friends. Grace got down on her knees to Abby's level. "Look at me, Abby. You will be fine. Go be yourself. I know you will make a lot of friends. I will back for you in a little bit. I promise" "Pinkie promise Mommy?" Abby asked "I pinkie promise" she does a pinkie promise. Abby waves bye as the teacher come over to introduce her to the class. Grace stood up as she waved at her little girl who was growing up fast

~Later at recess~ Abby looked around the playground. There was one girl in the corner reading a second-grade level book. Abby only knew because Ruth was in second grade. Ruth would read those to her to her as she would go to sleep. She walked over to the girl. " h-hey I like Amelia Bedi-la too" she barely says above a whisper. The girl looked up. "Can you read?" "N-no. M-my sister reads those to me at night" Abby smiles The girls smile "Oh, my dad has been teaching me to read. I can teach you ..if you want" Abby smiles "that would be cool. I'm Abby" "I'm-" The girl was interrupted by a boy running over to them chasing a ball. He wasn't watching where he was going and smack dab into Abby. Spilling her water on her in the process. "Seth watch where your going!" The girl said She turned back to Abby. "I'm so sorry" She tried to help Abby but it was no use. She was soaked. "My names Izzy and this is my brother Seth" she nudges him Seth looked down at his feet embarrassed. "I'm sorry"
