Harry didn't know half these people. He was sure Ron had only forced him to be there so he could study with Hermione in the library. Meanwhile, Harry was to 'Lighten up!' and go to their second house unity party. The first which he didn't attend because he argued it would be 'Boring, Ron!' and 'Oh, piss off 'Mione.'

His insides twisted as soon as he reached the dungeon door, echoing footsteps coming to a stop. He waited a moment before knocking once, twice, and then the door swung open and Draco Malfoy stared at him with frazzled hair and confused grey eyes. The people behind him stopped their light conversation, and Harry stepped inside. He clenched and unclenched his fist, regretting ever coming as his stomach dropped. Then, as if a gift from Merlin himself, he heard a very faint, "Harry? Is that Harry?" followed by Luna Lovegood pushing through the crowd and grinning at him. Harry couldn't help but smile, and Neville soon came following behind her. They exchanged a nod, and Neville pat his shoulder once before turning to Dean Thomas, who hesitated before playing the music once more.

The three chatted merrily, with Luna's invitation, and the chatter spread throughout the Slytherin common room again.

A few hours later, and Harry was downing his third shot of Firewhiskey.

The room had become more diverse. Within the next hour of Harry arriving there, a steady load of Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws and Gryffindors joined the party with welcome.

Harry began to recognize more and more people from the war, a few of which came up to him and told him they were glad to see him there. As his spirits died everytime he saw someone who'd lost a friend or sibling because of him, he took a shot. He really wasn't affected too much, just a few stumbles here and there, but otherwise he was quite fine. After a while, Luna started replacing his shots with water before he could lift the glass to his mouth, which irratated him only slightly. Deep down he knew he would be grateful later.

It was about 11 PM when a Ravenclaw had decided they should play some actual unity games, and whoever wanted to participate could if they wanted to. Harry felt himself being pushed into the circle, probably by Seamus or Dean. He saw Draco separate himself out, and instead stand towards the corner with his cup. Harry tried not to think twice about it.

They began to play what Harry recognized as some type of Truth or Dare, and he remembered cheering and laughing lightheartedly when Dean and Seamus were dared to kiss. They did, a quick peck, before blushing and laughing it off. Someone made Luna take a shot and then do a cartwheel, which she executed without throwing up. Pansy confessed she had never liked Draco that way, really, and Neville told the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs about Snape being his boggart.

And then, Blaise was pulling Draco in, quite drowsily. He slung his arm around Draco's shoulders and the color rushed from Draco's face. Harry felt quite uneasy, but mostly curious. Draco elbowed Blaise in the stomach a few times but Blaise just pushed his hand away and got his words out, "Draco! Sincerity or Challenge?"

The Slytherins and Ravenclaws around them chanted which one they wanted him to pick, and he squirmed uncomfortably. Blaise pat Draco's back harshly. "What was that? Sincerity?" Draco hadn't said anything.

Draco whispered something angrily in Blaise's ear, and Blaise rolled his eyes. "Look, I know! I wasn't gonna say anything about Harry, silly!"

Draco's eyes widened and Harry's heartbeat quickened. Everyone "Ooouuu'd" and Harry felt someone pull him by the sleeve and suddenly he was in the circle too.

"Oops!" Blaise said, without a hint of apology. Draco blushed and tried to leave, but Harry stepped forward and took his wrist, stopping him.

Draco turned back and sneered, yanking away his arm. "Piss off, Potter!" he snarled.

"Oh, please, Draco. We all know you've always had a thing for Harry!" someone said from the crowd. Harry guessed it was Pansy. He didn't like that they were forcing Draco to do something he didn't want to do. A string of "Yeah!'s" came from the others, and Harry felt himself beginning to blush as well.

Then, abruptly, someone screamed, "KISS, YOU IDIOTS!" and started up a chant of "KISS! KISS! KISS! KISS!"

It was only them in the circle now, Blaise had gone out of the room to go throw up. The pair was flustered and unsure. Then, maybe the Firewhiskey finally kicked in, because Harry stepped forward with a light, "Fuck it," and pressed his lips to Draco's firmly. He heard Draco's intake of breath, and moved his hands to Draco's face as the others erupted into feirce cheers that could probably be heard throughout the whole castle.

They separated and Draco looked down at Harry with gentle eyes. Their moment shattered when a girl yelled, "FINALLY!"

Draco couldn't help but smile at that, and, encouraged, gently pressed his lips against Harry's again.

"Take it somewhere else you guys, seriously get a room. Please. Please do that, we've been waiting for years."
