●~Chapter 29: I'll Miss you...~●

  You awoke to the vigorous shaking of the ground. Papyrus was nowhere in sight.

  You went downstairs but it seemed like no one was at home. You ran outside and not a single monster was there.

  What was going on? You were so confused. You ran to waterfall, no one.
Hotlands, no one.

  Where did they all go? You checked every place in the underground and you couldn't find a single monster.

  That was it. You were going to go to Asgore's Castle. You ran up and down and all around just to get into the stupid thing.

  The castle... WAS ALSO EMPTY. No killer king anywhere, no guards, no NOTHING!

  You then saw a stairway. Light was shining through the opening. You ran up the staircase and saw the sunset.

You were on the surface

Papyrus, Sans, Undyne, Frisk and other monsters were standing there watching the sunset.

"The barrier has been broken," you said as you approached them.

"(Y/N)! So glad that you could make it up here...."

"This "place" is hell. I came from this world... I know."

  Memories of slavery came back. You didn't want to go through all that again...

"Do you guys really want to suffer the cruel ways of humanity...? Do you wish to suffer in the way I did? I knew this day would come but... I didn't expect it to be so soon."

"Whatever do you mean child?" A tall goat monster asked.

  You replied "this world can corrupt your minds to do worse things. Do you really want to be slaves to these cruel humans?!"

"(Y/n)... I assure you. We will be fine."

  You gazed at the happy monsters who were free from their prison. Like criminals who have accepted justice...

  You could do nothing be feel good for them. You couldn't stop them anyways...

  You decided to let it slide. They could handle themselves... right??

  Two weeks past... it seemed like everything normal again

  You always seemed to be caught staring at this gigantic house. It seemed familiar but you just couldn't quite put your finger on it.

  Beside it, there was the new MTT Resort, where humans and Monsters are all welcomed. Muffet had her own cafe around the street next to grillby.

  Streets were even more crowded and more noisy. Monsters have gotten into fights with humans but became friends after that.

  You walked down the road to reveal a small house that looked similar to the one you lived in when you were in snowdin.

  You knocked on the door and a familiar face opened it.

"Heya (Y/N)"

"Sup Sansy?"

"Who knew I could teleport the whole house up? Ain't that cool?"

"....you did what now? Teleport the whole house from the underground to the surface..? Wow... that takes guts to do but since you don't have guts, I'll just let it slide."

"Yo, thanks for coming over to take Papyrus's things. He'll appreciate it more if you brought it to him. "

"No problem! He's coming back about 3 years later so it'll be the last time I'm gonna see him in 3 years..."

  Sans handed you Papyrus's bags as you called a taxi.

  It was surprisingly fast. You got in and told the taxi driver "To ReoloAirport please"

  The taxi driver zoomed all the way there. You got off and paid the taxi driver. Frisk would be taking you home from the airport so you didn't need to worry about getting home.

  You rushed in and ran all the way to the cafe where you saw Undyne, a few royal guards and papyrus having some coffee.

"Hey, guys!" You said as you entered.

"Hey (Y/N)~ what brings you here?" Undyne asked as you placed the bags on the bag trolley.

"I'm here because I needed to send papyrus's bag here. He forgot to bring his socks, so Sans packed for him and I brought it here~"

"Thanks~ sorry to trouble you..."

"No trouble at all! You are going off for 3 years and I won't be able to see any of you..."

"Oh! Frisk and Alphys went shopping. I'm not sure where they're at but they said they'll come back here. You can hang out with us if you want."

"That would be great!" You ordered some caramel mocha coffee from the menu and sat down between Papyrus and Undyne.

  2 hours passed while you guys were talking. Frisk and Alphys came back with some weird candy and other stuff.

"Plane 206 will be arriving in 2 hours. Flight 206, Please proceed to check-in."

  The announcement for the gang to go had sounded. You hugged them all very tightly, wishing them the best of luck. Papyrus kissed your forehead as he hugged you tightly.

"Watch Sans for me won't you?"

You laughed then saluted and said, "will do boss!"

  He smiled and patted your head "Good girl. I'll be going now. Goodbye love~"

"Be careful..."

  And with that, the whole gang left. Military training was no joke. Undyne wanted her best guards to join her, Papyrus being one of them.

  You waved them goodbye and followed frisk. She sent you back to the new house you had. Both you and papyrus live here... it's gonna be a very lonely 3 years but... you were going to stay determined and wait for him to come back.
