Seraphina walked down the street hoodie back on and a sports bag full of cash at her side. She occasionally stopped in front of stores to see their wares. Stalling in front of a boutique she saw a purse that caught her eye, black fabric and fire embroidered in purple thread.
"Hey doll face!" Ryan. Sera turned to face him as he walked strolled toward her.
"I do have a name," she turned back to the bag and he stood next to her.
"What is it then, love cake?" She could feel his eyes on her.
"Evanna," Maverick suggested she use a alias, she turned to look up at him but he had already grabbed her by the waist and was walking down the way they came, "you know I can incinerate you right here."
"Yes, but you aren't going to because I'm saving your ass right now." Confused she pushed away from him but he held strong, he bent down to whisper in her ear, "there is a man following us and you and going to act like my lover and I will do the rest."
"Fucking bastard, if you want to date me then just ask."
Ryan nipped at her ear, "trust me." Sera sighed and leaned into him resting her head on his shoulder.
"Good," he led us into a public men's restroom making sure nobody was in and not locking the door. "You trust me, baby cakes?"
"Yes and it's Evanna." He instantly slammed her into a wall and started kissing her neck sending her heart into overdrive. The click of door opening made Ryan turn around and push her into the wall.
"Se— Evanna!" Maverick void bended me to him. It was like being sucked through a vacuum and she fell into Maverick's arms.
"He knows you, pumpkin?"
"Yeah well, I kind of live with him?" Ryan ran his fingers through his dirty-blonde hair.
She held herself up as he said, "So you— he is your boyfriend, Eva?"
Maverick laughed and she blushed, "No I've only lived with him for two days."
"Yes and I will be taking her home now."
"Wait," he grabbed Sera's wrist, "what is your address?"
"327 Oakwald." He let go and we were being sucked into a vacuum of darkness and chaos.
