Most people in Sera's position would probably love it. Two handsome men, one who can give you anything you want, and another that is sexually attracted to you. Sounds like heaven right? Wrong.
Sera has been pacing around her room Maverick had given her, while trying to rub off the tattoo that Ryan had given her. Listening to them fighting about her. She wanted it to stop now. She barely knew these people and she was putting this burden on them.
There was a loud crash from outside her room. Sera ran out and saw Ryan laying against the wall in shock and fear as he looked at his brother who was breathing heavily and staring at Ryan with dark rage, his hands were turning black. Could he control his power?
"Sera, run." Ryan looked at her with eyes that told her this was dangerous.
"I could hel—"
Ryan cut her off and Maverick turned to look at her with dull onyx eyes. She stepped back into her room and he took a step towards her. He was going to follow her and perhaps kill her. She turned and ran across her room and straight through the window. Shattered glass cut her face and arms.
She touched the ground and started running. Hopping over fences and bushes, Mav was right behind her. Yells muffled by the wind in her ears, dogs chased her threw their yards. She just kept running and leaping. Eventually she made it to town she just kept running. She wouldn't stop. She ran down an alley and turned around. He was gone.
Panting, she leaned up against the brick wall of the alley and slid down onto her bottom, her face in her hands. Ryan had something to cause this, what is was, she had no idea. There was a pop and Ryan was beside her, looking down at her as she sat on the ground.
"I'm so sorry," he said his face full of worry as he sat down next to her.
She looked at him, into his ocean blue eyes and sighed softly, "What happened back there?"
"We were yelling, I was telling how stupid he was for keeping you there, and how he should've left you on the road. All he was focused on is that tattoo I gave you. And then, his rage took over, I've only seen it happen twice, but when he gets like that, there's nothing anyone can do, why he went after you is the real question." Her hair was swept to the side so her neck tattoo was exposed, he looked at it and exhaled, ashamed of himself. "I regret that now."
She quickly moved her hair to hide the flame tattoo on her neck, blushing a bit, "It's okay, I genuinely like it."
Nodding, he solemnly leaned in closed into her face and gently kissed her cheek, and with a loud pop he was gone.
