Chapter 6. Fury

"Ryan is your brother?!" In her room, sitting on the bed, Seraphina and Maverick were whispering about what had just happened.

"I knew you would be mad," Mav ran his fingers through his hair nervously, "I didn't want to tell you because of what happened earlier."

"I just want peace in my life for once!" she flipped her hair over her shoulder, showing off her tattoo Ryan had given her in that disgusting public restroom.

With deathly calm rage he asked, "Did he give you that?"

"What? No I've had this." She had forgotten all about it.

"Like your richy-rich parents would let you get a tattoo." He knew about her past, Sera didn't like that at all.

"There is a thing called glamour, but I don't think you are smart enough to know what that is."

"How is hell did you get glamour?" Good, he believed her.

"I had 'richy-rich' parents, remember? I got an allowance for just breathing, and seeing from the way you are acting you and your brother grew up on the streets, you never had money as a child, you envy me, you wonder why I would kill my family when they had all that money. Well I'll tell you," she was standing up and yelling now, "I was being kept in that mansion like a princess! They were afraid of me! I was locked up in my room because they thought I was going to set the whole gods-damned house on fire! And I did! I wouldn't have if they let me have my freedom-" She realized she was screaming at him and telling him things nobody knew but herself by his expression, which was absolute sorrow.

"I am sorry," he looked at the floor, he felt guilty.

"No, I'm sorry for yelling at you-" Ryan came in the room, bewildered.

"You're Seraphina Aedus aren't you? Not Evanna."

She smiled slightly, "Yes, I am."
