3) Broken dreams

Rachel's dream~
She woke up and looked around.
"Where am I?"
It was dark in a forest somewhere. She walked through the trees and saw a red light at the end. She ran towards it, "Hello is someone there?" No answer. She continued runny towards it. When she got there the red light got brighter. She covered her eyes. Then the light went away. She looked and there he was, Gaku.
"Gaku?"
"Yes Rachel."
"But how?"
"My love for you can't keep me away, 2 years was to long."
"I can't even believe it!" Rachel ran and hugged him. He hugged back.
He's just the way she remembered him. Blue eyes, blond hair, bangs over his eye. All of a sudden he put his hands on each side of her cheek and pulled her Into a kiss. She blushed. After a while he pulled away for air. They held hands and she laid her head on his shoulder as they were walking.
"Where are we going?" She asked.
"Anywhere you want, since this is unfortunately only a dream."
"So wait when I wake up, you'll go away?"
"Yes but trust me we will meet again, and not in a dream." Rachel wanted to know what he meant but he looked impatient, tired of walking around no where so she decided to drop it. Rachel closed her eyes and pictured where she always wanted to go with him before he died. She opened her eyes and saw that it had worked. There was cherry blossom trees, under a full moon, with a river and a bridge over it. They walked over to the bridge and stood on top.
"It's beautiful, why did you make your dream this place?"
"It's somewhere I've always wanted to go with you."
They stared into each others eyes with passion. Rachel has missed moments like these. They both walked to a cherry blossom tree and sat under it, arms wrapped around each other.
"So, I've always wondered about this, but how is it in the afterlife?"
"Well, I can only explain how it is from my point of view. I guess I was good during my 18 years of life, because where I am it's amazing."
"Wow that sounds great, at least your happy."
"I am but I wish you were there with me."
Rachel smiled, she would be there any second, but she would miss her family terribly.
Rachel was snapped out of her trance,"So what's the latest? I haven't seen you in a while."
"Well, my mom set me up for speed dating since I was depressed about your death still."
Rachel covered her mouth. She completely forgot about Tristan! What if he finds out! Play it cool.
"Did you meet anyone?" Lace of worry in his voice.
"N-Nope, I never planned too, it's just I live with her and I would never hear the end."
Shit! Why did I stutter! Gaku turned to face her, looking in her eyes. It felt like forever till he spoke.
"I can tell your lying to me Rachel."
"N-no I'm not!" One more stutter and she was going to loose her mind.
"Tell me who he is." He said sternly. She looked up at his eyes, they weren't the light blue she remembered, they held a darkness. She stayed quiet. His grip on her chin tightened,"I'm not going to repeat myself."
Rachel wanted to run but where? Her back against a tree, him right in front of her. So she gave in and decided to tell..
"Ok, well his name is Tristan, I meet him earlier today."
'I know I should let her move on, but I can't. She's mine. I hope they haven't done anything. If they did he's dead.'
"Have you done anything?"
"We haven't done that, but we kissed."
Rachel decided against lying since now he is the human lye detector.
He let go of her chin. His eyes glowed red knowing what he would do to him and how.
Rachel looked up and saw that the sky was fading away. That means she's waking up.
'Thank god' she though.
"Well I guess I'm waking up, good bye Gaku."
He was snapped out of his thoughts,"Remember, I'll see you very soon."
That was the last thing Rachel heard before she was in complete darkness.

Rachel opened her eyes to the sun shinning. She got up and did her morning routine. She put on ripped jeans and a crop top. She was deciding wether she should text Tristan or not. 'It was a dream right? Gaku won't do anything? Well I might not hear the end of it but he can't stop me, I need to move on.' So she texted Tristan.
-Hey
-Hey what's up?
-I was wondering do you wanna hang, since we got along.
-That' sound great but I have a full day of classes, so maybe another day?
-Oh ok that sounds great, bye have a great day

Rachel blushed and went downstairs. Since she has no plans she decided to be with her family. She saw how no one was up and she checked the time. That's why, it's only 7:00 am. She decided to make them breakfast. She looked through the fridge and cupboards to see what she can make. She finally decided on pancakes and sausage. She got out two superset pans and started.
(Skip because no one cares)
She placed 2 pancakes on each place (all in the shape of hearts) because you love them and 2 sausages. You got out the butter and syrup and placed it on the table. She checked her phone 7:58. She went to get them up so it wouldn't get cold. You woke up Lily first, since she takes a little longer to get ready. Then your mom, and Daisuke. Lily and Daisuke were the first ones down.
"Wow! Thank you so much big sister!" Lily exclaimed. Lily hugged Rachel and went to start eating. Rachel turned to Daisuke,"Aww you love me big sis." He teased.
"As if, but I know you would wine if I didn't."
Daisuke pretended to look offended but failed miserably. They both laughed and sat down.
"Do you guys know where Mom is?"
They both shook their head. Then their mom came rushing down stairs,"I'm sorry I have a meeting, can you box mine up and I'll eat it later?"
"Ok."
Rachel put the food in a box and in the fridge. She went to sit down. She looked at both of her siblings, Lily making a mess of her self and Daisuke complaining that she needs to act more like a lady. This was precious moments that she's glad she doesn't miss. After everyone has finished, Daisuke takes the plates and cleaned them off, while Rachel took Lily and started watching tv. Daisuke walked in,"Hey why don't we go play outside?"
"Yea that sounds great! Let's play soccer."
"Oh ok I'm gonna stay in here to relax." Rachel said.
"Oh no no no, your coming right Lily?"
"Yup now come on!"
Lily grabbed both of their hands and dragged them outside. They all went outside and started. Lily kicked the ball from the middle and started running. Daisuke ran in front of her and kicked the ball. They all continued to play for a couple more hours before it started to get hotter. Rachel, Daisuke, and Lily went inside and they checked the time, 12:34 pm. Daisuke decided to make all of them grilled cheese sandwiches which Lily was happy to eat. Once they were eaten, Rachel cleaned the plates while Daisuke put Lily upstairs for a nap. When Rachel was done, she sat on the couch and watched tv. Daisuke came down and sat next to her. No words were said. About 10 minutes after Daisuke sat down Rachel fell asleep and laid her head on his shoulder. He smiled turned the tv off and laid his head on top of hers. Little did Rachel know that even naps she can't escape the darkness.
