8) Falling in love

A couple days went by. Nothing much happened, Rachel hung around Gaku and her family. Rachel opened her eyes. She looked at her phone, 8:00. It also showed the date, it seemed familiar but she couldn't figure it out so she just put her phone down. Gaku's arms were holding tightly. She gently wiggles out of his arms. She got clothes and went to take a shower. Inside, she thought about how she's not resisting towards him anymore. He acted crazy sometimes, but she couldn't help but smile. She got out, brushes her teeth, got dressed in a skirt that was above her knees, and a t-shirt that was plain light purple color to match her eyes. She went out of the bathroom to see Gaku gone. She went downstairs to only see him awake.
He spoke first,"Do you know what day it is?" He smirked.
"Uh, Tuesday?"
"Yes, but it's also my birthday, I'm 21 now."
"Oh my gosh! I'm so so so sorry I forgot!"
"It's fine, all I want to do today is spend time with you." Rachel blushed,
"Ok, how about we start with making breakfast, what do you want?"
"Surprise me!" He glowed. Rachel nodded and thought. 'He always loved biscuits and gravy, so that's what I'll make.' She got out some pots and pans, and got to work.
(Skip time)
Rachel placed a plate with 4 biscuits loaded with gravy in front of Gaku, with a side of orange juice. Gaku eyes lit up like fire,
"Thank you! I'm so glad you remembered this was my favorite."
"It's no problem." Rachel sat down and started eating from her own plate. She looked up and Gaku was already finished. He was rubbing his stomach in a joking matter.
"That was so good, I'm so happy that I have you." He leaned in and kissed her. They pulled away and Rachel finished her food then cleaned the plates off in the sink. Her mom soon came down,
"What smells so good?"
"Oh I made biscuits and gravy, and it's Gaku's birthday so we will probably be busy."
"Ok, you two have fun. And happy birthday."
"Thanks." Gaku replied.
The couples headed upstairs. Rachel grabbed her purse, she had some money. They walked outside and as Gaku was about to summon a car she stopped him,
"How about we walk? Today is nice, there are clouds blocking the sun, but it's not chilly."
"That sounds great." That started walking,
"Where do you want to go?" Rachel broke the silence.
"Anywhere, I'm happy as long I'm with you." Rachel smiled.
"Ok I have the perfect place." She grabbed his hand and led him towards the unknown destination. After a couple minutes they arrived at a park. Or to be more particular, the same place where they had their first date. Gaku smile widened. Rachel continued to pull him towards the swings. She pushed him on the seat. She soon went behind him and started pushing hard. Although this barely did anything to move him, she continued to try. After a while he started swinging. She got on the one next to him. She started pumping.
"Thanks for pushing me. It feels like I'm a kid again." Gaku laughed like a little kid too.
"It's no problem it's your day, and I feel terrible for forgetting. It's just so much has happened in the last week."
"I totally get it." They both started to slow the swings down, and got off. They headed towards a bench under the cherry blossom trees. Some petals fall. One falls in his nose and he sneezed. Rachel giggled. He took her hands in his, they faced each other.
"Rachel, I've never felt this happy since we first meet." Her face turned a dark crimson, for the millionth time it seemed.
"I feel the same way, I thought that I would be alone since you have been gone." She smiled.
"But now I don't have to worry about that." Gaku suddenly got on his knees and spoke,
"Listen, I need to ask a question. Will you move in with me? I want to own a house with you. You won't have to work. I can create as much money as I want. I want to complete our life together. I want marry you, have kids. This is going to be the first step." He asked, his eyes full of hope.
"Yes, that would be amazing. I've missed having our own house." Gaku smiled and got up, he picked her up and spun her around.
"Wow! This is the best day! I love you so much!" Gaku set her down and kissed her. She kissed back passionately. She knew she was falling for him. She couldn't help it, he may look and act differently sometimes, but he was still Gaku. They broke away. He grabbed her hand and ran.
"Where are we going?!?" Rachel yelled.
"The playground silly, since no one is here we have it all to our selves." Rachel calmed down hearing this and laughed. They played on the playground like little kids for hours and hours on end. Rachel stopped to look at her phone, 4:30.
"Hey why don't we go out to eat?" Rachel asked.
"Sure."
"Where do you want to go?" Gaku gave her a 'really' look.
"What?" She questioned.
"What do you think I'm going to say?"
"Anywhere with me is fine. I know, I know." Then, an idea popped in her head. She held his hand and led him to a restaurant. There was no words spoken, Gaku was just happy being in your presence. While Rachel was intent on making this day magical. They stopped at karaoke place.
"What are we doing here?"
"I know how much you like to sing, plus I have something I want to sing you." Gaku almost jumped out of his outfit from the excitement. They ordered their food, Rachel got teriyaki chicken, with a side of rice and noodles. While Gaku got rotisserie chicken with a side of miso soup. After they finished the food, Rachel got  up and headed towards the machine. She looked through the songs listed and choose it. She picked the mic up and started singing.

When she was singing, Gaku looked at her with admiration. To him, it was like a light was coming from her. His eyes filled with love and passion. Afterwards, she put the mic down and sat next to him. She took his hands in her own and spoke from her heart.
"I sang this song because the song speaks everything on my mind. I'm so sorry that I have been rude to you. It's just so much has happened and it's been amazing. Although I've never stopped loving you. Knowing what you did, just to see me again made me feel a deeper connection than we already had." His eyes pricked with tears. He never felt this much joy. He knew that they would be together for the rest of their lives. He cupped her face and kissed her. The couple stayed at the karaoke place for a while. They laughed and had a great time. When they looked outside the window, they noticed it was night time. Rachel payed, after a little bit of fighting with Gaku for the check. They walked him under the full moon. They both held each other close under the galaxy. When they arrived, they were beat. So they got ready to sleep, and they instantly fell asleep snuggling next to each other.
