~Arlie P.O.V.~

Yesterday was hella awkward with Nicole. It was really funny but talk about walking in on the wrong time.

Anyways, I was finally fixing up Nicole's old room but took a small break.

"Arls! I got news to tell you." Lexis said as he walked up onto the porch and took a seat.

"Spill it." I said half amused

"I met a pin up at the store today. Blonde one too." Whoa what?

"You did? Tell me about all that." Now I was fully interested.

"Blonde, white, brown eyes, tattoos, she even said she wanted to resemble a pin up. So I got her number, told her about you. Here you go." He pulled out a piece of paper from the side of his hat where I remember he used to put his pencils back in school.

"Its her number huh?" I rose an eyebrow as I carefully unfolded the piece of paper.

"Yup. Hit her up. She's hella chill and if you don't want a relationship, y'all can like be friends or some shit."

"I'll hit her up later on. She sounds cute." I'm definitely down to meet someone new but a relationship? That can hold off for a little while longer. I had gotten a text from Nicole saying she was on her way. "Nicole's comin over, you gonna stay?"

"I'll stay I haven't seen that girl for like a minute."

"What's wrong with you?" I asked as she dragged herself to my lap. Lexis and I exchanged confused looks.

"AJ. He slapped me last night after an argument we had. I took off the ring and left to a friends house for the night."

"He legit slapped you? Where?" I could already start to feel my blood boil under my skin.

"Mhm. Across my cheek. I never thought he would ever lay a hand on me Dad."

"He home now?" I asked

"He should be. Why-"

"Alright, I'll be back in a little while." I scooted her off my lap and walked inside to grab my gun. AJ really did it now. You never, and I repeat never put hands on a female. The moment you ever put hands on a female, you lose all respect, especially if its any female in my family.

"Dad? What are you doing?" She asked

"Gonna handle some business. Lexis you comin or not?" I was trying to keep my cool for Nicole's sake but I was ready to just kill.

"Yeah I'm comin-"

"What are you going to do? Dad don't kill him!" I ignored her plea and tossed a gun to Lexis.

"Let's go." I snatched my arm free from her grip and took the safety off the gun before dashing out of the house. I sprinted so fast down the block all I saw was red till I busted in through AJ's door.

"AJ!" I yelled as I ran up the stairs to find him laying down on the bed without a care in the world.

"Arlie? Arlie what the hell!-"

I held the gun up and fired.

~Nicole P.O.V.~

I ran after Dad and Uncle Lexis. I ran upstairs and saw Dad standing at the doorway still holding his gun.

"Daddy No!" I yelled as I pulled him arm down so his gun was aimed at the ground. I looked over at AJ and saw him struggling. Yes it was bad he slapped me but that didn't mean he needed to be shot!
