I shot up, the movement causing a searing pain in the back of my head. I rubbed my head, then my arm which ached as well. I assumed I had been thrown down. I looked around, noticing I wasn't the only woman who had been taken. There were three others now with me as well.

"Where are we?" I asked the one that wasn't sobbing uncontrollably.

"I have no idea." She replied shortly, and turned to continue her pacing. I took in a deep breath then stood and looked around. We appeared to be in a kitchen, but I didn't manage to get much of a look before the door fell open, and the two men stood there with grins on their faces.

"I recommend you let us go," I said, green eyes now trained on them.

"Or what? The elves are going to come kill us?" He mocked me then laughed. He looked to the other women, and smiled at one in particular. The woman who had been pacing. He approached her, and grabbed her arm rather roughly. She responded by pulling back, and pushing him. "This will all go so much easier if you just cooperate with us."

"Why would I cooperate with you?" She growled, and swiftly reached for a sword he had hooked at his hip. He forced her back so she wouldn't touch him, but he didn't release her. When he noticed what she was reaching for, his face made it evident he was going to make an example of her.

"Is this what you wanted?" He drew the blade from his hip, and examined the shining silver metal. He held it up briefly as if he was still examining it, but almost instantly thrust it threw her chest. I heard a name gasped from the second's mouth in disbelief-- Vaughn--, as she dropped with a short forced inhale. I took a step back toward the two women who were still sobbing, though now it was harder. "Now you see what happens when you don't cooperate?" He asked with a fake pout. I took in another deep breath trying to calm myself, and I looked around trying to assess the situation. I noticed a blade sitting on the edge of a table, only about a foot from me. He didn't seem to notice my glance, but the other man did.

"You've chosen a bad place to keep your prisoners." I grabbed the blade with no hesitation, and grabbed the seconds hand as he attempted to swing his own blade at me. I twisted his arm, causing his sword to fall. This "Vaughn" took one of mine, so I decided I'd take one of his.

I pushed my knife into his temple, and forced him to the ground. The first watched me in utter disbelief as he fell and I leaned down picking up the sword he'd dropped. By time I had rose back up and stood straight he was already out the door in a full sprint. I looked back at the two women who were hand in hand, and I sighed.

"Can you two find your own way out?" I asked, and they hastily nodded. One wiped some of the dampness from her cheeks and got to her feet. I passed one of them the sword and watched them as they took the opposite direction I wished to. After a second I began up with the knife I pulled from the second's temple and began my pursuit. I was crouched slightly so I couldn't be spotted so easily. Keeping to the shadows, I made my way passed two guards who seemed to be having a heated conversation. I came to a stop when there was two more standing at ready outside a bedroom. I looked at my clothing, which had a bit of blood on it, and I stood straight holding the knife behind my back. I attempted to play the blood off as if it was from the butchering of meat.

"Excuse me," I said sweetly with a smile. "What is this room?" I asked, and tilted my head to the side.

"Who are you to ask?" The guard asked hatefully, looking directly to the blood on my dress.

"I am a servant down in the kitchen. A new one. The butcher? I am trying to find a restroom? Is this it?" My sweet tone remained, and I pushed my expression to relay the same softness.

"No, this is Vaughan's bedroom. You'd better get back down stairs. You don't use these restrooms anyways, filth." His words made my fury burn a bit harder, but I kept that sweet smile, and uttered a quiet thanks. I didn't know why the two hadn't  been warned of me, but my mind led me to believe that imbecile wss too afraid to speak... I turned to step back to kill their suspicion, but without hesitation, I spun back around and flung the knife through the air. Luckily my aim hit just right, impaling one of their foreheads. However, I didn't have much time to be relieved at my new found accuracy. The other ran at me, and swung his sword but I ducked beneath and dodged it. I swept beneath him, and hurriedly drew the blade from the slain guard. I turned back and swung it across the others back but it did no good. The only result was a loud clang against his armor. He pulled back, prepared to swing again but I forced the blade threw his arm, then his throat. I took his blade as well, and turned back to the door. I wasn't just going to open it. In fact, I wanted to be a little more dramatic. I turned to the side, lifted a foot and kicked the doors inward so they flung open. The man stood there on the other side with arms crossed. He was trying his best to appear valiant, but his eyes shown fear. Fear of me.

I stepped forward, tapping the two blades together and reveling in the beautiful sound they made together. "Hello," I greeted with a faked happiness.

"Hello..." He responded with the same tone. "Can I offer you a deal?"

"Oh, what might that deal be?" I continued toward him as I spoke, and he stayed still.

"I'll pay you. Pay you any amount to leave here and leave me." His words were rewarded with only a scoff.

"I don't want your filthy money." I growled. "All I want from you is your blood," I lifted a blade, giving him no time for a strike and drug it down with all my force. I watched as his face split open, and I shook my head at his screams in pain. I lifted the second blade and crossed the two at his neck. I moved them like scissors, pushing them together and nearly decapitating him. I turned to walk away, but paused and looked back.

"On second thought, maybe I do want your money." I reached down, taking a small burlap bag of gold from his pocket, and dropping the blades.

I then made my way out of the estate and back to my alienage with a smug appearance.
