We got into Justin's car and he turned on his Ipod.
A song came on that I had never heard before but the voices we're undeniable.
It was Of Mice & Men.
"I love this song! How have I never heard this before?!" I exclaimed
He chuckled before giving me an 'Are you serious' look.
"Oh.. Nevermind then!" I said getting embarrassed
"I'm messing with you!" He said while grabbing my hand and squeezing my fingers and letting go just as fast
"It's their new album, Restoring Force, it came out a few days ago, you've been talking about it nonstop. That reminds me, you need to call Austin, I haven't really filled him in much, but he's going crazy." He said like it was nothing.

"I'M FRIENDS WITH AUSTIN CARLILE?!?" I exclaimed
"Ouch! Warn me before you do that! But yes you are.. And- wait are you fangirling right now?" He asked while laughing at me
"Do you expect me to react calmly to being friends with Austin Fucking Carlile?! That guy is like a god to me! Oh my god!" I said while leaning back in my seat
Justin was still laughing at me
"Fuck you! I'm going to call him." I said while reaching into my pocket and sure enough in my contacts there was no joke his name programmed in.

I might have just a wee bit of a fangirl crush on him.
I clicked call
"Destiny Fucking Smith! How the hell are you!? I'm so glad you're awake! Are you okay?! Justin refuses to tell me anything." he said sounding pretty upset
"Austin Fucking Carlile! We have one little issue with me at the moment. But by the way Justin has your album on right now and it's fucking amazing!" I said smiling
"What's the issue my dear?" He said
"Um.. Well, I have no idea how I met you, or how we became friends, or even how I met Justin, I mean he's told me how we met but it would seem that I have lost a year of my memory.." I said
It was quite on the other end of the line
"Austin? You there?" I asked
"yeah, I'm here, just trying to process it, is this why Justin hasn't told me anything?" He asked
"Not sure, just a sec" I said moving the phone away
"How come you haven't told Austin anything?" I asked Justin
He looked over at me
"He's on tour, didn't wanna stress him out" He said shrugging, "plus, i didn't know anything, so there wasn't much to tell"
"Oh" I said before going back to talk to Austin
"Well, I did just wake up like yesterday so he hasn't had much time to really tell anyone anything, plus aren't you on tour? You don't need that stress." I said
"So you don't remember me, but you know i'm on tour?" He said confused
"Nope, Justin just mentioned it"
"Oh, well will you come to a show? We are touring with Bring Me, it's going to be sick as fuck" He said getting all excited
I turned to Justin with a puppy dog face
