"I've got the popcorn!" Dan yelled as he walked into the living room. Chris, Louise, PJ and Phil were already sat on the couch. PJ had taken over and was flipping through channels to find a movie. Dan looked around for a seat.
"I saved you a spot" Phil said after seeing Dan glance around. Phil had sat on a large comfy chair. It should have only been big enough to seat one person, but they both tried to sit side by side anyway. They were both extremely uncomfortable. Dan moved to sit on Phil's lap. That was much more comfortable.
Dan could feel something pressing against his butt and looked at Phil. He had turned bright red. Phil whimpered. Everyone turned to look at them.
"Dan," Louise started, "why are you sat on Phil's lap?" It was Dan's turn to get flustered.
"N-no reason" he stuttered. "There just wasn't enough room anywhere else for me and Phil was just being a nice friend." Louise saw straight through his lies, but kept quiet. They continued to flip through channels until PJ stumbled upon a romance movie.
"A romance movie? Don't you need to watch that with a girlfriend or something?" Chris put in. PJ grabbed his face.
"I'm your girlfriend, kiss me Chris!" He joked. Chris screamed and pulled away. Dan laughed at their antics.
"I think a romance movie would be nice." Phil added. "If we don't like it, we can always change it."
"Good point" PJ replied as he selected the movie. Louise turned out the lights. And while the three of them were distracted, Dan and Phil were doing annoyingly cute couple things like Eskimo kisses and Dan laying his head on Phil's shoulder.
