Dan rushed down the aisle just before the wedding started. He was still attempting to fix his tie as he walked. Phil was gonna be so mad at him for being late to Martyn and Cornelia's wedding.

"Sorry I'm late." Dan whispered as he slid in next to Phil. He placed a kiss on Phil's cheek. The classic song "here comes the bride" began to play.

"Where were you?" Phil grabbed Dan's tie and did it for him. He pulled it a little tighter than he needed, causing Dan to choke a little.

"I couldn't find my pants."

"God, you're such an idiot." Phil quietly laughed.

"Yeah, but I'm your idiot."

"Shut up. Hey, here comes Cornelia." Everyone's heads turned towards the back, where Cornelia stood with her father on her arm. She walked down the aisle like a graceful enchantress. Her white mermaid dress was covered with lace, dotted with a few tiny red roses to match her hair.

When she reached the altar, she smiled at Martyn. He smiled back. The two of them were so in love. Martyn couldn't take his eyes off of her throughout the whole ceremony.

When they got to their vows, Dan laid his head on Phil's shoulder.

"What?" Phil asked, stroking his hand through his boyfriend's hair.

"Oh it's nothing. I just..." he started, and paused a moment to listen to Cornelia talk about soulmates. "I just wish it was us up there." Phil chuckled.

"Maybe one day." He kissed his forehead. They turned their attention back to the wedding.

"You may now kiss the bride." Cornelia spun Martyn and dipped him before kissing him. The guests applauded.

A few hours later, they were all sweaty from dancing the night away. Martyn and Cornelia had completely abandoned their shoes as soon as they started to dance. Many others had followed suit and were slipping and sliding all over the dance floor. Dan and Phil were dancing together and trying not to fall over from the slipperiness of their socks by grabbing onto one another when they thought they'd fall.

Near the end of the party, Cornelia decided it was a good idea to throw her bouquet. She turned her back on a group of her friends and counted to 3. On 3, she tossed the flowers over her head. The girls pushed each other to grab it. There was a scream of joy as one of her friends caught it. Dan laughed. He was sitting at a table alone with Phil and they had both been watching the theatrics.

"What is it this time?"

"At our wedding, we are not throwing a bouquet."
