Literally my first uniform wear day at this school, they took my rank. it wasnt even the SAI that took it. it was the battalion commander. here's the thing. I would be okay with it but theres another kid that is also a transfer cadet that has been there longer than me with the same rank as me that still has his. Literally moments before the BC took my rank, he was switching this kid's rank from "female" to "male" ranks. I worked for my rank just as much as anyone. Also the kids at my old school are prepping for Promotion board. If i never moved, i would have a top3 position. When they demoted me i wanted to be one of those kids that let their rank control them and i almost threw a fit but i realized that the rank doesnt define me. I'm still a quality cadet. Nothing they do can change that. I'll just work on getting a company top three position next year since im pretty sure they already have their battalion top three chosen.
