Jungkook was in the dark for...well, he didn't know how long he'd been in the dark.
Oh but now it was slowly, slowly getting brighter until he could see...a ceiling?
"Where am I?" He muttered aloud, voice raspy and throat dry.
He sat up slowly, finding that he was on a bed in an empty room. The walls seemed to be made of concrete or some other dark gray material, and there was only one door that looked like it was made of steal with a rather small window in it and seriously, where the hell was he?
The door was suddenly opened, startling Jungkook and causing him to whip his head in the direction of said door.
"Oh, you're awake. That's good." The man said. He was dressed in a white lab coat and holding a brown clipboard and Jungkook figured he was a doctor of some sort.
"Do you know what you're here?" The doctor asked Jungkook, beginning to write on his clipboard.
Jungkook shook his head in uncertainty, "No, I don't even know where this is. This room makes me think of a mental institution or something." He said with a nervous chuckle.
The doctor stopped writing to look up at Jungkook. "It is. Your parents put you here the day before yesterday. You've been out for one day." He said, sending Jungkook an unsure look.
Jungkook felt his world stopping again.
A mental institution?
"W-Why would they..." Jungkook mumbled, eyes wide and rapidly scanning the empty room over and over.
"Jungkook, it's alright, just calm-" The doctor began in a slow tone, but it wasn't helping because Jungkook was remembering, he was remembering what happened that night his parents approached him about who he met at the park every night and oh no, now Jungkook was finding it hard to breathe again, he was gasping for air again, his lungs were burning again.
"Jungkook, you have to-!" The doctor tried to say but he was cut off by a hysterical Jungkook.
"N-No, my Sunshine, w-where's my Sunshine, h-he's waiting for m-me I have to g-go!" Jungkook rambled between gasps of breath as he stood up, but his shakey legs gave out the moment he tried to take a step and now he was on the floor, trying to get more air into his lungs, he just needed to breathe, breathe, just breathe.
Jungkook barely noticed another person rush into the room and now he was being lifted and led back to the bed but no, he couldn't lay down when he had to see his Sunshine.
He fought back, pushing them away and oh, ow, there was a sharp prick of pain in his left arm and now the edges of his vision were blurring and getting darker and darker until he couldn't see anything but darkness once again.
